The sales manager role can NOT edit existing estimates. The edit button is just missing. I can't find the variable that is blocking that function. Any ideas? Seems like an odd function to block in the "Sales Manager" role. -Tom

Ryan, I haven't dealt with this issue for over a year, so I've forgotten about the fix. I can however say for sure that the "memo field" can be taken out of the customer center. -Tom PS: We use the memo field for precisely that same function as you do.

OK. So, I guess you're saying that I edit our default sales order form because it is the customer's online view of their sales order that has the field that we want to hide (in the customer center). I edit the form and the "memo field" is already set to not print. now what?

A link to the customer's record might do the trick and you could probably insert one with some form customization. They have a link to the customer from a SO, but not a SO that is in "edit mode".
