My Stuff
Hello Community! Josh Maxwell, a User Experience Researcher for NetSuite Foundation has fun a question for you. Imagine for a moment that NetSuite had an assistant like Alexa or Siri. What would you ask of your NetSuite assistant? Use this survey link to share your top questions to the assistant.
Here are some examples to get your creative juices flowing.
"Did I pay vendor John Doe last month?"
"Take me to my largest sales order for this month."
"What invoices haven't been paid yet?"

I've recently researched MailChimp, Constant Contact, Vocus, and Tout. For the moment I am trying to get the most of of NetSuite's own marketing automation, starting with CRMSDK tags, although the are apparently "Deprecated." I have literally referred t Merrimam-Webster a couple of times trying to understand…

Thank you for your clear explanation!

Hi Corey, So if I copy NetSuite's auto-generated footer, paste into another email, and send, then the unsubscibe functionality in that new email will not work? Thanks, Chad AFAIK, this is untouchable. We tried to rewrite it a few years ago so that we could consolidate all of our unsubscribes from our different sources and…
-
So until some future date to be determined, all CRMSDK tags should work in email templates, whether they are used for email campaigns or bulk merge emails?
-
Just to follow up on this on: Apparently, Outlook causes emails to appear blank when there are styles in header of the html file. Once I deleted those styles and used only inline styles in the body of the html file that I was uploading to NetSuite for bulk merge emails, the problem was eradicated.:)
-
Is there a rule set up so that after x amount of soft bounces the email is converted to a hard bounce, or does it stay a soft bounce forever?
-
 The reason I created this post is because the help topic is vague, not specific. It simply says, "Responded – The recipient received and responded to the campaign but has not yet purchased." That doesn't tell me what a response is. I am left to wonder whether a "response" means that the recipient: - sent an…

Are those the only categories you are importing? Can you email me a your import sheet and I'll take a look? I have worked some with the old and new import. One quick thought as well: when you import are you selecting the option to Add or Update? I noticed that when I accidentally just selected one of the other options it…

Thank you Evan, It seems to have done the trick. I appreciate you taking the time to help.:)

Thanks for you input... But if I added this script to the template that we use to show lists returned for all searches, will it not hide all prices on all of the items that are displayed in it? We only want to hide the prices on one product line. For all the other manufacturer's items, we still want the price to be shown…
-
What if the user searches for the product as opposed to navigating through the site to view the item in it's subcategory where it will display in that template you cusotmized? When the item is returned in the search will it still have the price hidden? I would think that it would not, because it is being displayed there in…
-
I would love for NetSuite to add a simple checkbox option to "require login for pricing" on the Item record so that we could set this on a per item basis. I personally have no idea how to create this functionality. If anyone can do this, please let me know.
-
But this will cause ALL of the items in the search results to not display the pricing unless the customer is logged in, so this doesn't work. I want to have only certain items (brands) require login for pricing in A) their respective categories as the customer clicks through the site and B) in the search results when…
-
That won't work though because if someone searches for a product that I want to hide the pricing for, it will show up in the search results page with the price showing. Any thoughts?

Right now I want to modify the New Customer Registration form in some basic ways: 1. I want to move "Company Name" to the top 2. I want to add "Phone #" 3. I want to delete "Partner Code" (we never use it and don't even know what it is) Would doing these things require the above mentioned enhancement, or is this something…

Chad this is easy to do, in the Workflow tab of the online form, indicate whom you would like to CC when the form is submitted. Simple :) I already tried that. This is not an online customer form, otherwise you would be right. I simply cannot find our New Registration form anywhere within NetSuite to even modify…
-
Can you offer instruction on how to do this?:)
-
If I know what you are asking the answer is yes. In order to see the proper path to files in any folder you create within the File Cabinet, just click EDIT beside the file in the File Cabinet and you will see the link path. I am not sure if this is what you are asking, but I hope this helps.

Thanks Brett and Rick for your comments and helpfulness :) For anyone who's intersted, I was able to create a CSV template that allows me to import about 14 data fields for new list items. I haven't tested it enough for updating existing items to know if it works for that. Email me if you are interested and I'll send it to…

A few hours ago, all of our online pricing changed to 10% off list (instead of displaying the actual online price). This was bizarre indeed, but it appears to have fixed itself. We had a price level that was 10% off of List, which we inactivated it in case their was a defect related to it. Perhaps that helped? Also, I…

Also, I followed these instructions from a NetSuite Support email back in July. There were no items automatically set up in the shopping cart: "Items won’t show automatically in your shopping cart unless your customers click the buy button. But it will show if these items are automatically set up in your Shopping Cart tab.…

Evan, Were you just checking to see if I created a case or are you actively pursuing this issue to help us? This is an emergency. Please respond ASAP TODAY. I see no response from you here at the user group, none in my private NetSuite mail, and none in either of the cases I created. PLEASE HELP

Yes. I reopened case #587983 over a week ago. I have also just created a new case #611213 This is an absolute emergency. Please contact me at chadc@doubleradius.com to discuss.

Robert & Hazel, This is a BUG, or at least something is wrong. I wish I knew for sure where problem was originating from?!?!? If this is related to the NetSuite feature that cumulatively adds all of the shopping carts together, then there is a BUG with that feature. None of our customers, regardless of how many computers…

I just changed my Upsell Settings. Was this the problem? "Items to Upsell in Cart" was set to "Show Related Items First and Upsell Items Next". ** Now I just changed it to "Show Only Related Items" (and I have never set any "Related" items manually) **Does this setting mean that these items actually get added into the cart…
-
There are three different Upsell options (see list below). I set all of these to "Show Related Items Only" just in case that was causing the problem: 1. Set Up > Sales > Upsell Preferences 2. Set Up > Web Site > Set Up Web Site > Upsell (tab), then Items to Upsell under Upsell Rules 3. Set Up > Web Site > Set Up Web Site >…

I just became aware of another customer who had $80 MILLION extra in his shopping cart at check out last night. He cleared his cookies, and tried again this morning, and he had $400 MILLION of extra, unwanted prodcuts in his shopping cart! There has got to be a reason for this happening and a solution for this problem.…
-
No. What I am saying is that I don't think these large amounts of items are randomly appearing in his cart. They must have been ones that he already purchased in the past or placed in his cart and then removed. Before he deleted his cookies, huge amounts of items were showing up in his cart at checkout without him adding…
-
By "unwanted," I mean it was not something they intended to buy during that session. They did not place these itmes in their shopping cart during this session, but they showed up at checkout anyway. I assume that these items are ones that they may have placed it in their cart previously and either bought it or removed from…

Jessie, Yes would appreciate your help. You can add and delete items from the shopping cart. Less would probably be better, but go ahead and do some tests. Please reply to chadc@doubleradius.com for further discussion. Thanks!
