I got the below back from support. Following these instructions I can search for a phone number, however this means that we have to strip out at least one digit to use the wildcard. I would like to know who out there would like to be able to do transactions in multiple currencies for their customers. We cope OK with multiple accounts for a customer/vendor in different currencies. Does it matter that much if they are sub customers or not? Richard

There are a few reasons why we don't like having to create a seperate company record just to manage currency. Now you come to mention it, I quite agree with you. I think I had just learnt to accept the multiple company requirement. I'll go and vote now! Richard

The reason that you can't use kit items with serialized members is that there is no way to specify which serial numbers belong to the kits when they are sold. A pain for us too and not something made clear in sales literature which I imagine would have prevented disappointment for most of us. Given that this enhancement relates to advanced inventory module and not part of the core Netsuite application, I don't imagine it is going to make it's way to the top of the enhancement…

Another frustration with Auto Numbers when used with customers is that the Global Search in the top right corner does not seem to search the Company Name field so a customer can only be located number from Global Search Richard

I turned auto numbering on and then what was one field (ID/Name) became two seperate fields which were both searchable. I copied the 'Company Name' into the newly appeared 'Name' field and this solved my problems.

We have found that if you send the template without any alterations then the link is sent intact. If you edit any part of the template before sending then the link is broken by the Netsuite HTML editor Richard

Hi, when using email templates in Mozilla I cannot seem to switch off the display of the HTML tags I think there is an enhancement request for this.

We have done the same but instead made a 'proforma' template for an Estimate instead. Most often someone we send an estimate to wants a proforma so we hit 'make copy' and amend the template.

I must agree that netsuite's sales literature, demo accounts and reps/resellers are very unclear as to what is included as standard and what is sold as add-on modules.
