My Stuff
Hello Community! Josh Maxwell, a User Experience Researcher for NetSuite Foundation has fun a question for you. Imagine for a moment that NetSuite had an assistant like Alexa or Siri. What would you ask of your NetSuite assistant? Use this survey link to share your top questions to the assistant.
Here are some examples to get your creative juices flowing.
"Did I pay vendor John Doe last month?"
"Take me to my largest sales order for this month."
"What invoices haven't been paid yet?"

What should we do about orders that were placed before the fix date? They are still sitting in the que waiting to be approved. Should they have automatically been fixed? I was trying to think of a work around for this. I would be interested to hear anyones ideas. i was thinking of copying the sales order and setting the…

Did you ever find a solution for this?

Thanks for the update. I have been scratching my head. Office 365 version 16 has been out for a while now. It would be nice if Netsuite would update the software. Unfortunately, I looked around but couldn't find any information regarding the next release.

The problem with using events is that I can invite someone but not assign it to someone. I need to assign multiple tasks to employees and then create a report which tells me if they have been completed. When I create an event and invite someone, only I can complete the event - not the employee that I invited. I have been…

Have these problems now been resolved?
-
I did not, unfortunately.

Thank you. Nice, simple solution. I may have been over thinking it a bit. For anyone else, I posted the complete formula below. I used it in the criteria. CASE WHEN to_char({datecreated},'HH24') <> to_char({today},'HH24') THEN 'Y' ELSE 'N' END

That would work but I need to have the Direct List Editing functionality.
-
Perfect! Thank you
-
That did work. The description of that field is not very detailed. By unchecking 'show in list' I wonder what other lists this custom field will not appear in. Thanks
-
I believe there is a field called "matrix child" that you can add to your criteria to filter and show only the children. If you add the field "matrix item" this filters just the parents. Hope this is what you were looking for.

After a year on NS our searches and reports are growing exponentially. In lieu of a folder system, I have begun appending the dept/group to the front of the search as in: CSR:Customer Item Reference, HRS:Employee Access, FIN:Credits Processed, etc. This at least lets me sort by group and find what searches I have created…

Thanks! i never realized that there was a 'closed' field - appreciate the help

Sure, I'm creating a shopping feed and i want to include my matrix child items along with their parents item description in the feed. So i am first checking to see if the item that this formula applies to is a standard item or matrix item child item - I'm doing that by checking the {parent} field to see if its empty or…

umm...yep - the wording confused me - but it seems to work - thanks!

Jkline, Do you think you could give a brief explanation of how you are doing this? This would be very helpful to us also. Thanks
-
This would be very useful. Any idea when this is going to be possible. Also, Shani - I am curious as to what work around you came up with. I have a custom field called "confirmed" on a purchase order that I need to update once the vendor has confirmed that they have received our PO. The problem is, we have 100's of PO's…

Thanks for coming back and posting the solution. This has been valuable to me.
-
Any update on this post? We have found the same issue in our instance.
-
Thank you For anyone else reading this. If you export the saved search, the results are correct - its only in the Netsutie UI that the results are goofed up.
-
yep - sure is

Worked like a charm. The only mistake I made was the "store value" field is checked by default. For this to work it needs to be unchecked. Thanks for your help!
-
This would be a nice feature. I'm interested in knowing if it is possible.

we are working on it now - thanks for the help

Unfortunately xml-sitemaps.com will only crawl a max of 500 pages. The standalone version requires that it be run on the server. Having a sitemap for a Netsuite site is proving to be difficult - and it shouldn't be. Creating a saves search of all the item records online and their url is easy enough but getting the category…

Is there no way in Netsuite to find the category url's via a search?
-
I am having problems with saved searches. It seems that any saved search that has an email alert is throwing an error. We are in the process of contacting Netsuite but it is a major error because customers are getting the error in the shopping cart and cant process orders. You may want to run a test order through your cart.

We have a top 10 SE0 company that we have been working with for the past 6 months and they picked up on this right away. When we look at our reports from September on, there is a MAJOR decrease in our Search Engine Positioning in MSN and Yahoo starting in October - which is when we had the last NS update. Google is fine,…

can you do this with web store items? I didn't think you could, but maybe I am wrong. Using your example: I want to sell cars. The first option would be the make. The customer selects Honda and the next option is automatically populated with the model numbers that are for Honda. Possible?

Yesterday we could only import a max of 166 - today we can import 167. We are getting the same "Unexpected Error". I have made a case - #857015
