  • I do something similar using a tool called Automation Anywhere (AA). I have a saved search that emails me a csv file. I have a script in Outlook that saves the attachment to a file folder on my hard drive. AA will then grab the file and automatically upload it to an ftp server. You can even schedule the AA task so the…
  • We have a custom script that pops up a message regarding the PO Box in the webstore. We still get orders for PO Boxes from PayPal orders but it does reduce the issue. Fedex and UPS both have a new shipping method - Fedex SmartPost and UPS Basic. Both ship to APO/IPO and PO Boxes. This would be a better fix since you will…
  • Does anyone have an idea if Item Fulfillments will be a supported transaction type for csv imports in the new 2010.1 version? My understanding was that more transaction types were to be added at each upgrade until all transaction types were supported. Thanks in advance
  • Well, the documentation for the csv import is pretty short. I can't find a sample file anywhere and I am not sure if you can add custom fields to the import. The csv map importing works great for other transactions so I am hoping that Netsuite will roll it out for item fulfillments as well.
  • Sorry - I assumed that if I copied the link it would take you right to the page. The title is: Bulk Fulfill Orders Using a CSV Import thank you!
  • Thanks for participating in the thread. I have provided a link to the help file below - its very short. https://system.netsuite.com/app/help/helpcenter.nl?topic=help I shouldn't have said that there is not a sample file - I forgot all about it. I had looked at the sample file a while ago and I just checked it out again.…
  • I have tried it out but I wasn't successful and I never found good documentation on it. I am assuming that it is going to be replaced with the CSV mapping functionality that other transactions currently have. We need this functionality for creation and updating of Item Fulfillments -mostly for items that Drop Shipped from…
  • We do this using a Saved Search Email Alert. Create the saved search and filter by the particular vendor. Include the information your vendor need in the results fields. It works great for us. Hope that helps.
  • You can create a transaction saved search. On the criteria tab: filter type=sales order filter status=Pending Approval Customize the results tab to show the field you want to see. You can get fancy and maybe highlight the sales orders that are getting near their fulfillment date but that would require a formula. Or, if you…
  • Nope - not certain - I thought that was the case and our entire company thought it was too, but we did get a lot of calls from customers for status on their order. Is there away in Netsuite to send an item fulfillment email to a customer if it was from a drop ship PO (shipping label integration was not marked =yes) Thanks
  • Tom, I manually put the email address in the field and checked the box for it to email but I never got the email (I used my own email address). Now for UPS, whether we had intergrated shipping label on or off, we could check that box and get the email - is it different for Fedex (these are for drop shipments so the…
  • It's a great idea. It would have to be modified to exclude items that will be drop shipped. Or maybe the first criteria would already exclude drop ship items, hmmm...
  • Great info! I have something similar working but the problem I am running into is with the field id's. I know Netsuite has the "Single-Record Results - Insert Field" where you can select a field but it has never worked for me. i select a field and the field id does not populate into the body of the email. Is there a…
  • We ended up with a custom script that provides the flexibility that we need. It allows us to specify in the fulfillment email which shipping company the item actually shipped with -as opposed to the shipping company our Netsuite account is integrated with. We provide a picture of them item for the customer, a tracking…
  • I'm not sure why your "Single-Record Results - Insert Field" doesn't work, because that's where I got all my field ID's from. When you click on the drop-down and select the field you want, it populates the corresponding field ID in {brackets} in the top left-hand corner of the email body. It doesn't insert it where your…
  • Evan, Are you proposing creating a saved search that emails the customer when a product ships? This sounds like it could be good and highly customizable. We ship Fedex but sometimes we ship freight. I imagine we could have 2 saved searches that send customized emails with links to the appropriate websites for tracking. So…
  • Well, I was working on customizing an email via a saved search that had the tracking number clickable. You can use the {trackingnumbers} field in the url and it works, however, if there is more than one tracking number - it doesn't. I was working on customizing this fulfillment email and I have run into some snags and i am…
  • Jeff, Can you post the criteria for your saved search? i would like to test it Thanks
  • Right, it doesn't populate. I think I figure it out. It doesn't work for Firefox 2 or 3, Safari or Internet Explorer 8. Now I was using IE8 with the emulate IE7 feature turned on and it still didn't work. I uninstalled IE8 and tried it with IE7 and it does work - woo hoo. So now I am off and running. I will log a case so…
  • We are now on 2008.1 What feature has been added that will allow us to filter out items that have been drop shipped? Thanks
  • Well, it might still be drop shipped even if the item is not drop ship (or vice versa). You could eliminate those though by adding the filter "applying link type is not drop shipment." Thanks - I added the Applying link type is not drop shipment filter and some items that did end up getting drop shipped still show up on…
  • ok, i found the -None- I had to click on the search button to see it - but I still didnt get this to work and I know I have items on SO's that should have drop shipped. Did anyone get this to work?
  • Thanks - not sure if that is it - but I am looking into it
  • thanks for checking into that for me - appreciate it
  • sorry - i should have been more specific - i meant for the applying transaction field - how do you set that to none?
  • "I selected any of - None." how did you select ' None ' - I dont have this as an option
  • Only complaint is that we need to replace a computer and UPS can't seem to get vista compatible.. atleast the last time I checked, but that's not an OZ problem. www.tewarehouse.com We are just starting with Ozlink and I did a lot of search and found a Worldship Beta version that is Vista compatible - the UPS tech didnt…
  • The real benefit to me of using dimensions is that you are able to determine which packages will require "dimensional weight". This method has replaced UPS and Fedex's "oversized" pricing method (os1, os2, os3). So you could have an item that weighs 10 lbs but costs quite a bit to ship because the box is large. So, you…
  • After some research, I have found the same. If it is a drop ship PO it has no impact.
  • Is this true for drop ship PO's also?
