Good to hear! Really looking forward to it.

Sounds good guys, Well I'll be there at 7:30 if anyone wants to join me. I'll be the guy with a pitch of beer! haha By the way, for an easy way to get from the airport to the hotels in that area check out the BART system. It goes from the Airport and if you get off at the Powell St. station it will put you right next to…
-
I'll be there. I'll also be sticking around for a few days afterwards so my wife can join me for a few days of fun in the city.

Shane, I created case# 1242418. You're listed as a technical contact on the case so you should get an email from Netsuite at some point.
-
I couldn't agree more. We had this discussion a few years back and Evan mentioned that Netsuite would stop doing releases in the last quarter (sorry to bring that up Evan). The problem for us is not just that 80% of our revenue comes in from Oct-Dec (making issues especially serious), but during those months we are…
-
I don't really know. It's terrible for us but perhaps there's a compelling reason why Netsuite picked this time of year. I'd like to hear from them on this.
-
Nope. That's why I'm doing it at night. :)
-
Count me in to getting these update updates :). RSS likely won't work because it can't be locked down to Netsuite customers only but even a sticky thread in this forum would do the trick. The number of issues with and lack of transparency of updates is by far our biggest complaint with Netsuite as a product and always…

I suppose that will suffice. ; I look forward to collecting my prize.
-
That was me! What do I win? I would settle for a hug from Evan.
-
Sheesh. I sure hope not. We're counting pretty heavily on our online form while we build a new web site. http://www.fhcanada.org/povertyrevolution We get switched over to 2009.2 tonight but our beta account is apparently finished, so I can't check this.
-
I can live with that until it gets fixed. Thanks for checking it out.
-
I also asked for this capability - Do you have an enhancement # we can vote on? You bet! Vote now, vote often. #101497

I just want folders and descriptions for saved searches. We've been waiting 5 years and counting for this one.
-
But ... I can't seem to download the 2.0 pdf. I get a "page not found" error when I try to follow the link.
-
We are apparently not allowed to know. We go live with the Beta in a few days and I haven't yet seen the correct feature list. And, since we can't discuss it here, even though this is a closed forum, we're out of luck I guess. Also, going to Support>Help>Sneek Peeks returns "page not found" in my account. Sigh... Edit:…

Release 8.5 out of 10 (it's really good!!!!! :) ) Handling of Release Note dissemination 1 out of 10  why this problem!! Agreed. PS: The version I got had nothing exciting in it.
-
I remember reading sometime, somewhere, in the dark corners of this forum that .1 releases are now focused on UI and stability improvements and .2 releases are focused on new features. Or do I have that backwards? As much as I'm looking forward to new features (we also have a long list), I can't help but hope that this…
-
As Luke mentioned in the other thread, we are working on our first native iPhone app which will provide key functionality such as accessing dashboard KPIs, report snapshots, and trend graphs, view your NetSuite calendar/tasks (including accepting events and marking tasks completed), and view/search for most CRM-related…
-
I'm pretty sure the sneak peaks are available to all customers now (did you mean sneak peak, or are the release notes more detailed?)
-
Can the release notes be posted here? Nope. Or you'll have your hand slapped! :)
-
The folks at Netsuite are apparently developing applications for the iPhone that should make specific tasks faster and easier. I just have no idea what those tasks are. Read more here.
-
We're also on March 3. I think that means we are 3rd out of the 4 groups.
-
I'm curious to see if there are any iPhone do-dads on the way.
-
I would say that of the new features that we use, about half of them do not work as advertised or as expected. "As expected" is the tricky part and a bit subjective. I can't think of any reason why we shouldn't shoot for 100% of new features delivering what they advertise. Maybe the press releases need to be toned down to…
-
85%? I think you're being overly generous. I no longer tell staff about upcomming features because I assume that they will be broken or at least not working for our business model (which is admittedly a bit different). I would not count on a new feature doing exactly what you want for at least 6 months, more likely a year.…
-
So why am I ranting about this? Simply to say that NetSuite is not unique in this regard and it is highly unrealistic to expect all their new features to work perfectly right out of the gate. I have found that they eventually get things working (although I'm having a lot of trouble Bins right now and that is hardly a new…
-
We are also very much looking forward to the inventory/non-inventory item switch feature. We were at the beginning of the 2008.1 rollout (lots of broken things for us as well) and are pretty happy to be at the end of this one. Here's hoping most of these issues are addressed before we go live.
-
That's usually the way it goes, yes. Look forward to an easier 2009 :)
