NSC | Resolve Error: "You need a higher permission for custom record type SAL Printing History.."

edited Aug 15, 2025 5:03PM in Accounting / ERP

Scenario

User is trying to delete an invoice but receives an error message stating 'Permission Violation: You need higher permission for the custom record type SAL Printing History...' User checked the User Role settings and confirmed that the 'Full Invoice Permission' is assigned under the Transactions tab. They want to know if there could be another reason why they're unable to delete the invoice and encounter this permission-related error?

Solution

1.Using the Administrator Role, navigate to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles

2. Edit : Custom Role of the User

3. Go to Permissions tab > List subtab

4. Add the Permission: Custom Record Entries >> Level: either Edit or Full
