Anyone else? It seems like only a few SQL statements are supported in searches- and none which allow me to do a regular Count. Any ideas for work around? Maybe via custom records or something?

Thanks Kelly, your thread led to me the discovery that if I select count as group type plus use count({field name}) it will give me the total number of records in the field, not the distinct ones. Thanks!!!

There was also a product called Eventify by Tavano that you may be able to leverage to manage service appointments- I think I've seen other job scheduling add ons on the ap page too. I was also curious on the car dealership "act" whether that scheduling was the resource mgmt in SRP or something else.

You can create custom CRM fields and source them from the customer list. We pull in FN, LN, title and other things from the customer record on cases this way. You can also do it via workflow.

Thanks so much Cwhelliiston- that solved the forecast problem. How did you align the transactions? If i group on trans date it cross joins to every forecast vs. just it's matching forecast. Did you use a formula to define the transaction sum?

How did you structure your custom record? If I have a forecast value of 100, when I run an item based search it is adding up 100 for each row of transactions that I have grouped into a monthly period. Making my forecast look exponentially higher.

Corey- I have been told by support and proserve that you cannot import attachments via csv, which makes sense. We left ours in our old system and put in the url to the hyperlink back to the original record.
