Angelika, the fields that confuse you are actually related to integrated shipping- the ship method is ground, overnight, etc, tracking number is self defining, and these fields are picked up when an order confirmation e-mail is sent out, they are very handy fields, if you use integrated shipping. What are you trying to do?…
-
How weird. Never seen this one before.
-
Yeah, great point- if you dont use integrated shippng, nor fulfillment e-mails, I wonder why they are still mandatory fields? As a side note, I'm curious, how do you notify customers that an order has shipped? Do you provide them with anything- tracking number or otherwise?

Jim, From my own perspective, I would have to agree that QA/Testing has some problems. But in this case I think you're being unfair when you say that it's clear that no one tested this, because there are all manner of things (not just the actual page links) -- including configuration of servers and/or 3rd party software…

At this point, the problem had been laid out. The focus should now be on the solution and move on. Then we can all benefit from the lessons of shared mistakes, experiences and solutions. As a provider, I go for balance of priorities in Netsuite, i.e. product & support quality and continuous innovation for total customer…

I do not see 'all NS users' in his thread as you claim. I think you are letting your anger affect your vision. I'm not angry, no cause for me to be. It was in one of his last posts on the other thread that was pulled, not this one. ;) I believe he knows what I am talking about. :D
-
Jeff - thanks for the follow up. I did notice that your case was resolved although I believe that if the error message would have been more specific/clear, you could have resolved this on your own. Both your time and NetSuite Support's time are limited so any time we can eliminate some extra work we should. Sean Oh your…

With regard to your comments on self-implementation, Ray and I already had a detailed discussion about that on the "temporarily unavailable" thread. The grief of self-implementation is largely behind us. With all due respect, if this were true, then there may not have been a letter to begin with. I am going to go way out…
-
I dont think we have one specifically on this. The one I have is - http://www.skyytek.com/Info/Credit-card-prcocessing-netsuite but its more an insight into how all of this works. rather than specific use cases. Thanks, Ray.
-
granted, this is all in your opinion only, and your perception may not be the perception of the rest of us. Please refrain from including the words 'all NS users' as you did in your last thread. This implies that you speak for me, and I assure you, that is not the case.
-
Glad I could help. Have fun!
-
Let me see if I can dig out the whitepaper skyytek has on this- it is very helpful.
-
Hi Jeff, Still looking for that white paper, may have to ask Ray to dig it out. However, let me see if I can get you started here. Logging into your cybersource account, see if you can successfully run cards. If it is still in test mode, thats fine. If you cannot run a card successfully from here, call cybersource. Once…

what should not be happenning? The pop up itself? or the pop up displaying to the customer? Are the items in stock?
-
Can anyone can help me figure this out? I'v registered my FedEx account number and added shiping items to a list, but when I click on 'FedEx Real-Time Rate' the option does not show up for online customers. When I click on other shipping rates, it will show up, but I don't want those other shipping rates. I've checked…
-
wow, progress. Someone is listening.....very cool.
-
I'm curious- do you bill in advance of fulfillment? I'm trying to figure out what you mean when you say that items should be taken from fullfilment, if there is one. By chance, do you use both sales orders as well as stand alone invoices?
-
there are a lot of things to setting up a credit card account. For example, did you sucessfully take our cybersource account live via your cybersource login? Did it test well then?
-
When using CSV to import, all you should need is one field that is unique- then you can use it as your base field to import. If you havent already done so- go to home-set preferences- display internal ID. Use theese ID's to map the notes against, it should do the trick.
-
What sort of odd things have you noticed? e-mai notifications sent to the wrong addresses, although, it could have been a picnic error- I was using several different e-mail accounts whle testing- that was the only weird thing I saw.:D
-
In your position, I would be giving my rep a serious headache, but thats just me......
-
Cat I can't seem to find the tab for this. Multi-Language is enabled. We have translated just about everything else. Can you please provide the navigation for this. Cheers! hey Andrew- Hope Paris is treating you well. Add this to the list for me and I will be happy to help you when you get back to your hotel. Let me know…

Thank you for your understanding. Daniel Chang NetSuite Product Management Thank you, Daniel, for your proactive communication.

also, keep in mind that it will not be available for users in different roles, until the permission is given to them by the admin.

Contact support, and request that they enable the "mass delete" for customers feature. Mass delete only works for transactions, a far as I know. Does it now work for entities?
-
You may want to check two things here- in setup-enable features, make certain mail merge is enabled. In your own personal preferences, (home-set preferences-transactions) choose whther you wantto e-mail as HTML or not (not is PDF) HTH

Just to reiterate - if you use two seperate browser session of IE you shoul dbe able to log into different accounts. You use different browser session by starting them from the start menu/quick launch bar (in Windows) instead of by choosing "new window" or "new tab". Well look at that- he's right- again. showoff :D LOL
-
no way around a painful process here. What you can do is to create a saved search of recently added, make it available in list view- then display it in list view-enable DLE, and using the shift key, delete groups of them a a time, instead of indvidually. Still time consuming- but not quite as bad. And for the record, I…
-
We are too helpful, Rob :) no such things as too helpful guys- :D I think it is a matter of two great minds thinking alike. ;)
-
to jump in here- it is also very easy to open one account in IE, the other in Firefox. The two will not conflict, as long as your not logged in with the same login in both sessios. You can run two sessions that way, without difficulty.
