also, when sending COD, there is no longer an option of "company check" The options are now, Any, Cash or guaranteed funds. If we use ANY, we are open to accepting cash for a COD shipment. Not a good idea, not something we want to do.

Do I assume correctly that you mean the actual release, not the beta? If so, did you have any significant issues with the beta? I believe that he is live with the version. I am still testing beta, and have noticed only a few small things. #1, on integrated shipping, the value does not autopopulate (as it should according…

Wish we could say that. :( Ray, what did you mean by "vendor merge. (helps with partner commissions)" ? Thanks, Cecelia vendor merge- as in duplicate detection- as we currently have for customers. If you have duplicate vendors, you no longer have to inactivate them and transfer the transactions manually, you can merge them…
-
I am running IE7, and am not seeing this at all. I see no warnings, etc, and can log in just fine-
-
Do you have spring fever, Ray? ;) I go live on the 8th or 9th of next month, If you like, I will also post major ones I find in here. Give us all a common area.

Well said Angela (again). If this were a British parliament, I would make all those gruff 'here-here' type noises... My point in starting this thread was really just to get a picture of what the main wishes are from the usergroup and those Netsuite employees that read it can get some very valuable feedback. We all know…
-
Well, this was fun, wasn't it! I suspect a lot of folks feel better just having an opportunity to voice their wishes. :D But will anything come of it? NetSuite? Are you listening? Any feedback? It must be tough to be in NetSuite's shoes. What to do? [LIST=1] [*]First, we have all these bugs from previous…

A wish list, hmmm, well, you asked......features is a broad term, remember... #1- a Support program that is customer service based, instead of quota based. Train support so that all customers are treated as customers, instead of leaving us feeling like trainers ourselves. #2- some kind of system that allows user friendly…

-Ability to customize the Global Search results screen. Let us select the type of records to search so the results screen isn't multiple pages long. Teresa This is already possible- in global search, type in CUS: for customers, VEN: for vendor results, etc. play with it, it works ;) more fodder for those simple…

Not only that, but with the amount of users, giving a beta to everyone is a major undertaking. This is probably why it is only available in the same pattern as the rollouts. Krish-I have been swamped, but lets see if I can help you out here. The "beta" accounts will be available before you go live. Somewhere in this post,…
-
I guess I'm further down on the list. Maybe this is a good thing with that fact it is a beta version! yeah- with new things come new bugs- just ask Brian- sometimes, being the first in line means we get to deal with issues first, and by the time it moves down the line, they get sorted out so that others are not affected.…
-
That is a true statement. For any contract you calculate support fees as a % of license - so if you add on users, add modules - you incur increase support. Been that way for a while - at least since they moved away from per user pricing for support (a year + ago). apparently, they must want us to drop support. Many of the…

this may be residual from the problems earlier in the week. I had problems with mass updates taking a long time, and my reports are still timing out on occassion. I notice that the load times shift, from slow to fast to slow again, so it is apparent they seem to be working on this. I bet if you give it some time (a few…

can we edit the email message that gets sent to the recipient? right now it says something like "go to our website to use it" but we don't have a website setup w/netsuite yet. I would like to change the message to tell people to come to our store. Are you using virtual gift certificates, or physical ones?
-
thanks, you rock. Although, I figured this out during testing ;) Nice to know I was right. That makes once today :D
-
I would like to see this option as well. Why restrict the record type you can save a message to. I forgot about this post- assumed this enhancement was ready to go. If I need to vote, please enlighten me with a number to vote for. :D
-
If you want to issue gift cards, they need to be purchased with an Invoice or Cash Sale. To do so, you create a gift certificate item. Then you add the gift certificate item to the Invoice or Cash Sale. On the transaction, you enter in the recipient name, recipient email, the sender name, and a message. You can also set…

Angela - in your case, we have Noah Kamrat as the Primary Contact for IP Gear (formerly Qualmax) and Ian Richardson's email address as the customer email address. So both those indivudals would have been the ones to receive the upgrade email communication. I have updated our records to include you in future upgrade…
-
Add me to the list of those who have gotten no notices- and yes, my address is current and up to date.
-
Brian - it looks like you have unsubscribed from email communication from us... that is why you are not receiving the notices of upgrade. We email both the customer email address we have on file as well as the Primary Contact. In the case of Circle of Friends, you represent both but unfortunately have unsusbscribed from…

As stated above, the ability to merge vendors is coming in 11.5.

Why is there absolutely nothing in Help that talks of using the shipping tables? Am I missing something? Even when in the shipping items, and clicking on help, there is no explanation whatsever on setting up these tables. Is this something we just figure out by trial and error?
-
Ahh, I stand corrected, Thanks, Malin. Seems all of these hidden drill down fields are not very user friendly. If you do a search for shipping table, it won't take you there, you have to filter through all of the things it does return, and drill down until you find it. lesson learned. Sigh.....
-
If you accept the customer deposit against a sales order, the deposit will automatically be applied when an invoice is created. Just FYI- Regards, ~angela
-
Thanks for the reply, where would one start with resources/tutorials on how to do this? I can imagine it shouldn't be too complicated to achieve. Hi Guillaume, The easiest way I would think to do this is to use 'online forms'. Netsuite has a built in capability that allows you to create a lead generation form that will…
-
Are you wanting to change these on forms, list results, dashboards....??
-
are you talking about the forms manually entered by different employees, or transactions brought into the system en mass?
-
Hello Maidy, are you talking about on a transaction? For example- a sales order? Does the permission of 'create' instead of edit on the role cover what you need?
-
Hi Maidy, So-to be clear- You enter the date, and you don't want someone else to change it? Is this correct?
-
I am having difficulty finding how to change the font size of the text on the sales order form in the pdf format. It is clear how to change column widths etc however the font size toggle has evaded me, does anyone have a solution to this? Thanks Harrison Font size is driven by the layout of the transaction. Try this: Go to…
