I know this one! Recently, the permission for transaction history was changed to be called 'financial history' (Malin and Darren must have been bored). However, it is not in the customer form, it is a permission located within the role permissions under 'lists'. J/K Malin and Daren, you guys Rock, was just teasing. ;)

We're having problems with dates for some vendor due dates. We can enter a due date, save, and there is still no due date. We've tried this for some particular invoices on different machines, and the same thing happens. Has anybody else had this problem? Since no due date shows up, this causes invoices which are really due…

Maidy, Just a thought, but on all of your 'locked down' and assigned forms, have youremoved the 'custom form' from viewing? This is the most common error- if they have access to this, they can then go into the standard forms and change whatever they want. Just wanted to mention this, as it is a very common error. Evan…

While I am not sure what exactly the problem is, I think I recognize what you are trying to do. For Example, a customer form for salesmen only, another customer form for accounting, with different roles havng acess to different data? IE- accounting can change credit limit, sales can't? If this is the case, it is possible,…

Bin-to-bin transfers within the same location will be added in a future release. In the meantime you will have to use inventory adjustments with 2 lines per item. I'm sorry this is not as convenient as a regular transfer. At least you gave us the option of being able to list the same item multiple tmes in the same IA.…

We don't use the returns facility (yet), and the inventory is correct (+5). It's how you get a negative committed amount, which destroys your Qty available amount (On Hand - Committed = Available: Therefore +5 - (-25) = +30 available). Now we have sold those 5, we are showing +25 available because we have -25 committed.…

I found a workaround for this. What amazes me is that nobody else is offerring it for anyone running into this. The workaround is relatively simple. Simply open the fulfillment for edting, click on the drop down for shipping type (ground, overnight, etc.) and clear it, as in, choose blank. Save. Then reopen it, and delete…

Whether it voids it or not, UPS will only charge for the packages picked up. Good question, though.
-
is there even such a thing anymore ?. I certainy hope so, as it is available to set up, and nothing indicating it wont work...... If it is not available, what is the point of havng the box there to check? sigh.....
-
It seems to be working for me now as well. Yee Haw! Thanks, for whatever was done!
-
Once this role is assigned, it does not appear as available on other records. This is a relatively new account, and this role has no been assigned elsewhere.
-
I ran into this yesterday. Try this, (it worked for me) Open the fulfillment. clear the box listing modality (ground, overnight, etc) this will uncheck the integrated label box. save open the fulfillment again and you should be able to delete it now. Don't know why, or what is up with this, but this process worked for me…

I agree - very good and very valuable for us - it gives new users a much better understanding of the Netsuite system. Having said this, I do not understand why Netsuite Support doesn't use this more agressively in their phone-support (Gold support)? During 3½ years of Gold support, nobody never told me that some of my…

Chris, before we tell you which ones we need the most, perhaps I may give you a bit of a perspective. If I buy NS small biz, which modules may I need the less of which I have purchased? So, what do I want to use the most, of the package that I have purchased, and how can what I need possibly line up with what someone else…

gotta love technology....Thanks for the clarification, JMU, every little bit helps- :D Any chance this can be fixed?
-
You miss my point completely, Jim. How can new users follow a path if they don't know these trainings exist? So, I ask, how is this information on these free trainings made available to new users? Also, I strongly disagree, I do not think it is supports place or call to tell a user that they need training. There is too…

Is this the actual announcement for the change? ' Free On-Demand End User Training Free On-Demand e-Learning modules designed for NetSuite End Users learning how to navigate and use your NetSuite account are now available. Included are Getting Started modules and SFA for Sales Reps. More titles will continually be added.…

Angela, can you get to it from the Support Center? There should be a tab there for NetSuite University, then the "click here to view" link, which goes to: http://www.netsuite.com/portal/services/training_01_elearning_list.shtml Hey but you know what? This list is different than when I accessed it recently, and I don't see…
-
ok, color me a dorkus, but are these unavailable again?? I cannot get into the training video again, specifically, the marketing 101.
-
Yes, we have updated the NetSuite University eLearning to reflect the new 2007 version. We have released the general "Getting Started" trainings for new users to get familiar with the NetSuite product as well as a Sales Rep track for daily SFA tasks. Marketing, Support and Accounting tracks are currently being developed…

Thanks so very very much, Chris. You rock! :D
-
Exactly, Cecelia. Also, to take it one step further, it would be a great move in the way of good faith if they were to leave the existing trainings in place until they are able to replace them. To just wake up one day an find them gone is a bit harsh, in my opinion.

I just sa your thread, at the same time it gave you the boot, it did it to me as well. said my e-mail wasn't valid, though. Had me wondering.... Maybe it's an Oregon thing. Been that kind of a day for certain.
-
You may want totry exporting your COA, then copying and pasting exactly as it appears. Worth a shot. ;)

Now, more than ever, I miss that smiley with a perfectly straight line for a mouth. Not sure what irks me the most here, the fact that item number can't be a number, the csv assistant isn't very assisting, or that I need help to learn the upload process. sigh.... JMU, you are, as always, wonderful. Thanks.
-
And while I could not reproduce this oiginal rounding issuein my version of Excel, it is reproducing now, with a vengance, in Office 07. I need stock in advil.
-
OK, for the record, here is what I can say for certain: Imports with the primary identifying fields that are numerical are affected (Name, UPC, Vendor UPC,) when the name is rounded, the UPC also goes haywire. No primary fields that have text seem to be affected. About 10% of the total imported are problematic. This is…
-
OK guys, ready for round 2?? In using the below information, we are working with another huge item upload. Since I know we have to change the number to text, I know which direction to go, right?? As someone mentioned below, first we tried entering the number as it should be, with dashes like this 123-123-1234. It is text.…
-
Wow, JMU, that was a mouthful. Not sure what is more frightening, the fact that that makes sense, or that I actually understand it. :D I was the upload Guru at Symantec, and 100k - 200k line uploads were not unusual, and this never happened to me with those, and lots of fields were numerical. That is why I am so annoyed,…

direct list editing is your friend. :-). Yeah, and thank god I know excel well enough to match up and find all of the wrong ones. (The same thing happened to the SKU's) I have to match up on the descriptions, then backtrack and fix the item names and sku's. At least DLE makes the final fix easier, once all the reconciling…
