You didn't answer the question. The question was if he uses SFTP SuiteApp which does support file decryption to import a BAI2 bank statement file and then decrypt it, I think SFTP SuiteApp just leaves the file in the file cabinet (correct)? It would NOT automatically launch the Bank Statement Import like ABSI (is that…

Why is your bank downloading so many duplicates? You need to solve that problem. Your statement download isn't setup correctly. You should be getting a daily file with transactions just from the past 24 hours. You should not be re-downloading a file that you already downloaded once. If you didn't set the datetime mask in…
-
Well you're not deleting 15K transactions one at a time from that match bank data screen even if the delete button existed. I would suggested just deleting that entire account from your COA and starting over. Your team screwed-up wasting time importing 15K transactions that you did not need. Incompetence.
-
You can restore it to the To be Matched column. Then create a new transaction from it with the Create JE, Create Deposit, or Create Check button. Then delete that new transaction. This * may * work. (I haven't tested it). But that also means that you manually marked a transaction as reconciled without having actually…

Ok so first thing is the rate is field is natively disabled except if you change the price level to -Custom- then it unlocks to user can enter a custom price, so that's why your screenshot showed it was disabled. So as you point out if someone changes the price level to -Custom- that will natively re-enable the rate field…

When you fill-out the PCI forms, just let them know that you are using 2 already-compliant vendors, NetSuite and Payflow Pro. Now separately, they will also want to know that you are not handling credit card data at all on your local network or local machines. So you need to sign some type of self-certification that you…

Payflow is Verisign! Verisign sold the Payflow gateway to Paypal. But it is the same thing, so you already have it!! NetSuite uses the Payflow Pro gateway (formerly Versign Payflow Pro gateway now renamed to Paypal Payflow Pro gateway). Not sure what Paypal Pro is??
-
NetSuite does NOT support Payflow Link. It only supports Payflow Pro. So dunno why you got that email.
-
I don't think so. I am not sure of this answer, but I don't think so. Maybe someone at NS can clarify. Even though the Payflow gateway supports Paypal payment within the gateway, NetSuite does NOT support it. NetSuite only supports Paypal or Paypal Express using the direct Paypal API.
-
Note: there is an option in NS configuration, to have the shipping print as a line-item on the Invoice, or to have it print down below above the Total. Is it possible that this setting has an effect on whether or not the shipping data is passed to PayPal? Worth a test.
-
Yes, you need the older Payflow 2.0 interface in order use it with NetSuite.
-
I think you can set which merchant account to use per location. So that should be automatic in NS once you set it up correctly.
-
Deryk how come you can no longer see the error when you log into the Payflow Pro gateway admin panel? What do you mean they changed it?
-
TPorter, do you have a real merchant account with a bank, or are you having PalPal act as your acquiring bank for you? (if the latter, they always screw up the setup). Can you successfully run a credit card on a Cash Sale yourself manually? I.E., does Payflow work on regular sales but just not pre-auths?
-
There is RBS WorldPay gateway which handles multi-currency, but I don't know if they handle Chinese Yuan. You could get the Paypal Payflow Pro gateway linked to PayPal and that may be able to handle it, but you'd have to do some research.
-
Nope. You need separate merchant accounts (separate MIDs) to get different merchant name/city/state to print on the cardholder statement. Or you could possibly get away with using your company's Legal Name and HQ city/state and use 1 account for all your subsidiaries, but you may be more txns disputes because the…

Rather than expose yourself to the risk of you having untruncated card numbers (which violates PCI and puts YOU at financial risk if your account is breached), you could call Amex and they will probably give you the acct# so you can write it on the documentation. If not, then take the coupon Amex included in the chargeback…

You would need a server-side script that fires upon submission of a Sales Order or Cash Sale form. It would check the left(1) digit of the card number, and 4 or 5 V/MC,6=Discover,3=Amex and compare that against the value of the card type field. That would work pretty good.
-
Paul, if you have your website set to preauthorize Cash Sales, then the card should be declined real-time due to the wrong expiry date, the customer should see the decline, and that should force them to fix the error right there until they get a good authorization. If the card issuer approved the authorization even with…

Hi Robert, the enhancement voting pages are located in Support > Netsuite Support Center > Enhancement Voting. Use the search to find the enhancement # then vote for it. As for payment types, NetSuite doesn't really care as long as it differentiates credit card versus non-credit card. All credit card payment types are sent…

That's the way! You got it...use the cash back tab. Or, better ask CyberSource to switch you to monthly discount deduction (i.e., where they deduct it once in one lump sum at the end of the month instead of deducting it daily).
-
Yes. The pre-auth on the SO is only good for ONE Cash Sale completion. So, you need to get a new auth on the second and subsequent Cash Sale (which you can do very easily by deleting the auth code and P/N Ref from the Cash Sale that copies over from the SO, and then checking the box to "Get Authorization" on the Cash Sale…

Scott, just to let you know, part of the problem is how your processor is charging your for non-qual's. Their actual wholesale cost difference in interchange is something like 0.50% (don't quote me on this, but the point is that it is much less), but it is a well-known trick that the processor will throw you in the…

Be aware that if you are storing the credit card number in your external application (which you are), then you must be PCI compliant with all the card brands, and depending upon your volume, that can cost several thousand dollars for the audit (talk to your acquirer).
-
There are several issues you have to consider with multiple CC currencies. When you open a merchant account, the merchant account is going to pay you in only 1 home currency. You can accept cards from any country, but V/MC will convert all of those into your home currency and pay you in your home currency. So you really…

There is a specific edit built into Visa's interchange qualification rules. It used to be that tax amount must be between 1% and 22% of transaction amount. But this is old information. I would check with your acquirer for the most recent edit values. (So 1 penny may not be enough to qualify)
-
Sean, here is the enhancement Brian opened for handling multiple Invoices (and/or partial payments against multiple Invoices) using Accept Payments. My suggested solution was to apply sales tax proportionally when sending the transaction to Payflow. Keep in mind the sales tax doesn't have to be correct, it just can't be…

Payflow Pro (now owned by Paypal) is the first gateway that worked with NetSuite so it has the longest track record of success.
-
Danielle, yes there is a setup option to turn-on the CVV field in NetSuite. It is called CSC (card security code). Poke around in the setup options and you'll find it. That is your problem. But also, you can ask Payflow to change your security settings for alllow non-matching AVS or non-matching CVV. Sounds like Paypal has…
