Thank you Patrick, Which SuiteApp are you referring to?

Hi Patrick, Can we pull the items from the Estimate and put them into the Project? I'd be happy with having project tasks added without financial data. (presume they would get added to the Schedule) I've also considered a way to extract the items from the Estimate (or opportunity) and get them into the Project. Possibly a…

Hi Patrick, It would be adding the items from the estimate to the WBS and EAC numbers. Thank you, Sue
-
Thank you Veronica, We are not creating work orders so I'm trying to use the same logic to create a project task. Hoping I can make more progress on this today.
-
Ok, I finally found how to make these updates with a CSV import. I need to use the Import Type of Relationships and then I could select the record type of Project. Hope this helps someone else.
-
Hoping someone will see this and let me know how to verify if the enhancement 137605 has been resolved or what it's status is. Thank you!

I did create a workflow to hide certain fields until after another field is selected and then it will pop-up the fields that are needed. The fields that are being manipulated in the workflow are all embedded in the form and were created when the form was built. (i.e. none of them are Edit, Save or Delete). I made the…

Hi, No scripts for this record: FYI - this is a record that I just created. Could I have missed something?
-
Hi Joahnna, The only way I can get to Edit mode is to select the record from the list: This is my view in Edit mode. Notice Save is also missing here. Thank you, Sue

Hi @Tigran S What criteria did you use?
-
Hi @Tigran Shahnazaryan, The roles do not line up with specific departments and therefore this will not provide the solution we're looking for. i.e. The KCI2 Employee Center role is used by employees in multiple departments. If we want to display documents that are specific to the Engineering department but should not be…

@Brian Stisser Thank you! We are not looking at (EAC) Estimate at Completion, currently.
-
@GauravAgrawal Thank you for the response. I have quite a few resources with end dates for 2019 that are still showing in the projects. Is there a global setting that would force removal when the end date comes around?
-
@Patrick Fresnosa-Oracle Your testing matches our scenario, thank you! Looking forward to hearing how others handle this.
-
Thank you for redacting our account info. @Jack Daryl Espiel-Oracle !! I'll remember to do that going forward. Changing the - to _ helped me find the bundle. I used the same Advanced search criteria and was able to find the bundle in Production, as well! It's installed and looks great!! THANK YOU!
-
Hi @Jack Daryl Espiel-Oracle , That does not find the bundle: When I navigate to Create Bundle > List it shows up as a saved bundle. Edit: Redacted account number from a screenshot
-
Hooray!! Thanks (again) Jack - this is working beautifully!
-
Thank you Jack! I'm excited to try this and will provide more feedback after I've tested it more. After I added the condition for specific roles to view the button I started getting an error "The author internal id or email must match an employee." I've removed the condition and getting the same error, so I have something…

Update and apologies! Another admin created a similar saved search with a 1 in the name instead of an I so there was confusion as to which one should be used. No further troubles with this! (just embarrassed)
-
Criteria: Results: Now here's the creepy thing - it's working again!!!

Wanted to provide an update to this discussion. If we send an email from the project record to the technician who needs to upload a file, the technician can reply to that email with an attachment and the file will be uploaded to the project record. Thanks to our ACS team for this work around.

@Brian Stisser - yes it does display the correct information without the class filter on the report. (Class restriction is set on role). Guess I was making it harder than it had to be. :) Happy St. Patrick's Day!
-
Thank you so much for confirming the inter-workings of this. @Patrick Fresnosa-Oracle and @Brian Stisser ! My final concern is the error message that is displayed. This is misleading to the users when they only need to select the correct class (and you're right only the user's class is available). I will let them know how…
-
yes, but then they're seeing information that doesn't pertain to them.
-
Thanks Brian, I do have the role restricted by Class but the Income statement will default to All classes and the user sees No Data Available. If they set the filter to their class they can see it. With this behavior, do you know if I can customize the error message to something more appropriate? :)
-
I finally found the correct income statement to assign to the new role. Thank you!
-
Hi Clarisa, The custom role I'm working with is KCI - Executive test2 and it is showing in both Audience and Access tabs. (I do not have the Customer Accountant 16 role that you showed above and presume that was just an example) I am still not able to see the Custom Income Statement. Thank you!
-
Hi Clarisa, Yes that role does have those permissions.
-
Clarisa, Here is the error, which is seen in my custom role (KCI - Executive test2): I verified access looking at the Audience and Access when in the Administrator role.
-
Hi Clarissa, I created another custom tab and tried to select the custom Income Statements I created. I'm seeing Custom Income Statements with a # (i.e. Custom Income Statement 9, Custom Income Statement 10, etc.) and I'm not sure where these are. I do not have privileges to access them even though I'm logged in as an…
