Seems this one was our doing. We put the google provided "tag manager" code in our <head> and not the <body> of our theme. Apparently that code somehow interfered with the "proceed" button and just in the address section of checkout.
-
Defect # 341689 ... Continue button doesn’t work on the Address page.
-
So, we reverted to the pre-reference version of the NS checkout. The bug bringing our checkout completely down is gone! The bugs blocking orders for various shipping issues still persists. So, the shipping bug we've had for several months now is NOT part of reference checkout. It is in the core of NS.
-
More specifically, our checkout is down. When users click "proceed to checkout" in the cart, then it loads and loads and loads and eventually displays a blank page with our header on it.
-
what has NS had to say about their position on NS stores working with GTS? Do they care about working with Google? Have they showed any interest in supporting their users in this area?
-
A customer called and asked about this....
-
I should mention that the continue button = "Address Save Button". So, if the customer thinks they can click through to the next step (eg: click the payment tab as a workaround) it won't work because no shipping or billing address will be saved.

We turned OFF reference checkout for now. We hadn't changed anything ..it just stopped working. We reverted to the old legacy NetSuite checkout. It was the only way to fix the issue. I think we'll start over and install the newest version and see if it fixes the issue. We were using version 2.03.1. The current version is…

Check suite answers. They've got a post on how to expose custom fields in reference checkout. You might run into unfixable defects like this.... https://usergroup.netsuite.com/users...rder-s2-really

What happened to the image I posted? The warning message says... Your connection to checkout.netsuite.com is encrypted with obsolete cryptography. Free shipping is really bad for consumers, but for some reason they love it. First, they loose out when they order TWO items IF the shipping cost is built into the cost of the items. In many cases, an item that cost $20 to ship will only cost $21 to ship IF you put two of them in the box. So, they end up paying $40 in…

Yea. Still wonder why Amazon, Walmart and the vast majority of mega-huge sites still split traffic into two sites (one for mobile and one for "regular traffic"). If I did a separate site, it would be fairly easy to manage. I'd use a 3rd party that already does our item search (Nextopia). They already pull 95% of our active…

Also, does anyone know what this means... 'console.timeline' is deprecated. Please use 'console.time' instead.
-
What checkout are you using right now?

NetSuite closed my enhancement request for adding 20 - 30 new themes in 2008 - stating it was released. To this date, I still cant find them. Bill, See... https://usergroup.netsuite.com/users...lates-for-sale ..that is from 2007 (8 years ago) ...saying "We're taking notes and will evaluate them for future enhancements"...…

not sure if mobile apps help much with Google's mobile friendly algorithm (commonly known as Mobilegeddon). While it was not all that significant this time around ..that could change.
-
3DCart also looks interesting mostly because FarApp makes a connector. Has anyone tried 3DCart? -Tom
-
Yes, then the question came to be responsive site -vs- separate subdomain for mobile traffic. I notice that most of the largest ecom are doing a separate mobile site yet most developers are pushing for just one responsive site for all traffic.
-
...Customizing Site Builder website to become responsive and mobile device friendly is a bit difficult as it uses the traditional Themes, Layout and Templates that contains autogenerated code from NetSuite system. I've used "reference checkout" and "reference my account" and they work like SuiteCommerce Advanced. So, from…

We've had this issue on and off. Fortunately, I don't think we're having this issue right now. -Tom
-
Yea, how long ago? When is the last time ANY new themes were added to SiteBuilder?
-
I'm leaning toward the separate mobile site option. What options have you seen? Have you found any specifically for NetSuite stores? The one I'm considering is made by http://www.nextopia.com/mobile.html, but I'm sure there are others that I should look at.
-
Can someone at netSuite (or elsewhere) post a google adwords tracking "step by step" set of instructions that works? I did what is posted in SuiteAnswers and it didn't work.
-
No answers. We don't like entering prices on the parent items because it isn't needed and can inadvertently lead to mass updating all child items to the wrong price. I think we just gave-up on showing the price before they drill down (for matrix items with no price entered in the parent). -Tom

I don't know the answer, but Ruben Pena of BluePoint USA has solved a similar problem for us. He made a custom checkout script to send all order data over to another 3rd party (not google analytics) from the "thank you page" in our reference checkout ...and so maybe you can email him for help. -Tom
-
Or are you using patchworks?
-
Are you using Celigo to connect with BC ?
-
Message me if you want to write the BV checkout script for us and let me know the rate. You could sell the work again to the other customer you'll be working on BV with. We've got a connector built... just not the PIE checkout script.
-
Thanks fourth-wave. I was actually doing some BV (BazaarVoice) work. I know you did a BV or PowerReivew connecter at one time. Would you share your checkout script taylored to send order data to BazaarVoice so BV can send out their PIE (Post-interaction emails)? If you don't want to share that, then I also understand since…

I use the same BS password at half the sites I visit and use complex, unique passwords for every sites that has sensitive info that matters. I'll be happy to see a much wider use of biometric scanners like the thumb scanner on my iPhone 5s. They're talking about the new iOS becoming better tied to your computer so that…
