You can take action by clicking a link to a SuiteLet, but I don't recommend this approach. You can take action by replying to the email with mailto:// links that insert data into the subject or body and use an Email Capture plugin to process the incoming emails - This is how we normally handle this use case. @Olivier…

Thank you for the suggestion, I've signed up and will check it out.

Thanks for the reply and suggestion. I installed the plugin to choose the runtime but couldn't make sense of the list of available runtimes. I was afraid of breaking WebStorm and not being able to start it so stopped experimenting. I did see your comment that version 1.8 should work, but I don't see anything in the list of…

This post wouldn't be complete without a wish/observation/suggestion list.

When a search only has one result the single record will be show rather than a result list with 1 match. This breaks my workflow as I'm presenting a list for users to click a custom link, not navigate to the record. Please consider…

Still not integrating with Authorize.net. Not a technical issue as many eCommerce platforms do integrate with this gateway. We're in the same boat where we do very few CC transactions so we don't meet the minimums for the other integrated gateways. For example, CyberSource has a $50 a month minimum for the gateway service.…

Thank you for the suggestion, this is exactly what I ended up doing. One more question: If there are two reps assigned to a territory will the system flip-flop between them? Or if there are 20 will it round-robin between them?

If you are replying to jmcadams or myself, then I think something was lost along the way. I am looking for a similar solution to solve our problem of automatic Lead reassignment. We are both looking for an automatic solution, something that doesn't require any action by a user. I seem to recal that cases have some…

I am looking for a similar solution to solve our problem of automatic Lead reassignment. For example, sales rep #1 can not get through all of his leads assigned to him. Sales rep #2 has completed his list and is available to assist sales rep #1. Unfortunately, we do not have the time or bodies to go through and manually…

BTW, I needed to do the same thing for Sales Rules and the solution suggested here worked PERFECT: https://usergroup.netsuite.com/users/showthread.php?t=15713

Are you suggesting SF.com is not perfect? Boy, I hijacked this thread.... :(
-
I came across some press release about NetSuite's integration with SalesForce which got me thinking that we would not use NetSuite for our growing sales team if we could instead use SF.com. Do you get the feeling this is what NetSuite wants? I mean.... the CRM tools in NS are abysmal and haven't improved in the 4-5 years…

Any word on this? Did anyone ever hear from NetSuite?
-
Jim, Are you saying that we shouldn't have to create custom fields to store the related data and complex scripts or mass updates to synch the data from multiple records?? :p Oh lord, the following is just ONE (granted, it's the worst one) of our records with merged data dragged in for message merging purposes:…

Whatever happened with this? I'm real curious as I just encountered the same issue.
-
I also would really like to know what the help is suggesting here. Help is missing the "big picture" section - I need a high level explanation of how email domains, web site domains, DKIM and our regular email address domains all interact.

Can't connect with WinSql or Excel. Can anyone else connect??:mad::mad:
-
Thanks, it works now. -Steve
-
Are you using java? If so did the connection lines look like I'm using .Net - although with WinSQL being a client tool this is a non-issue
-
Follow up questions? What Windows version are you running? I'm on Server 2003. Are you using the System DSN to connect or a User DSN? I tried using the server DSN, Netsuite.com since that is the only one that has registry keys. WinXP Pro I think I'm using the system DSN, although I'm not real familiar with the DSN stuff,…

We just renewed and didn't order ODBC again because:

so slow
totally unreliable
That doesn't help you, I know, just thought I would comment that for me it was always painfully slow.

My main question is why does a transaction with a SINGLE line item have 20 line item records? I can speculate what some of them are: 0) the item sold 1) a credit that might have been applied 19) shipping (that was zeroed out) Wow, wasn't expecting this! Turns out all those lines are the members of my assembly that I sold!…

Still unable to connect. Are any of you able to connect?
-
Sorry for the confusion, I thought this was the ODBC forum, I didn't realize there were enterprise reporting topics not related to ODBC. My bad! (I can't believe I just used that phrase... it's late)
-
Thanks for the instructions. I'm using a System DSN.
-
No, I need to get the images through the ODBC connector. I'm using ODBC in an integration environment, to fill the gaps in Web Services. Maybe an example would be more clear: SELECT i.Name, mi.url, mi.filename, mi.file_size FROM Items AS i LEFT JOIN MediItem AS mi ON mi.item_id = i.store_image_id; I just want need to…

well, like I said, it's been a real bad week for us using NetSuite and this was the straw that broke the camel's back. Have a good weekend, Steve

yes, my path is the same. Also, our cpmpany has spaces and it works fine.
