I have come across this issue before, relating to something else. According to NetSuite this iFrame has to be put in for tracking purposes. Apparantely it adds in some extra code at the end of the page. My issue with it caused some Javascript not to work correctly on Internet Explorer. When i asked them about it they said…

Thanks for that, was thinking it would be something down that route. Was doing some reading up about the Jsessionid's and you cant remove them, Oracle puts them in to check if the browser has cookies enabled. Looks like another workaround for me :)

Hi Elaine, i had the same web address in my response email from them. I also had a reply from them stating that they tested our website and that it was showing SSL version 2 on it. I even sent them the response from this thread and they said that it was wrong. Any luck from NetSuites end on this? This is like the third…

Just to play Devil's advocate, how about different descriptive urls based on website when using multi-website feature? We have three websites, one in English, 1 in French and 1 in German. Would be nice to have the correct language in the url rather than one url across the board ;)

Something has definitely happened, they have a few cases open regarding this problem. Hope they get it sorted soon or we might start slipping on the google rankings side of things.

Hi Mark, you'll have to check with NetSuite support on this one me thinks, as im going to as well. Since Thursday's mini update my sitemap generator which was working fine until then has stopped indexing correctly and has started given me about 10 results when its normally 3000. It could be we are experincing the same…

Lol ok, in order to make this work you need your own server which has IIS or Apache and PHP on it. You then copy the files into a web directory on this server and run index.php. This will have all the config details, most of it can be left alone, its only things like the domain name and etc that need changing. You can then…

Well i bought this one http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/standalone-google-sitemap-generator.html for $19.99. It runs on our internal server and generates a full xml sitemap. I have to manually upload it to NetSuite each day because of the lack of FTP abilities, but it normally works great. The last few days though it is only…
-
No, i manually upload it to the file cabinet each day, was in previous post  Is a pain in the ass, dont know why NetSuite cant open up a basic FTP service. It works though.

Yep, we also want shipping method price to differ based on price level. Our retail shipping used to be alot cheaper than our wholesale. At the moment we had to comprise and increase the retail price so that it worked in NetSuite.
-
I gave up trying to work with support on this one as i heard about the built in sitemap generator being released. Havent tried since this was reported im afraid.

Hiya, we had a similar situation. We used a company called Zonedit.com. We were able to use cname direction towards NetSuite and then mx redirection back to our email hosting companies server. The email company provided us with their static email ip address which we used for the email redirection. Plus this service is free…

Thanks for that, works perfect :D

We have alot of custom fields and standard fields for marketing and we cant record any of it on sign up, seems very silly to me. You can put them everywhere else in NetSuite, why not in the most important place, registration!
-
Yeah, i got this raised as an enhancement, really does restrict gift items that we try to offer. At the mo kits can only be comprised of normal inventory items or if you want to use matrix items you have to create kits for each size or colour. Is a real pain.
-
Your best bet is to use JavaScript to hide the links and rename them. I cant give any script at the moment, but i know it can be done.
-
This is an issue we found when we started with NetSuite. As far as im aware theres currently no way to remove the field level help from the customer centre. We put in an enhancement request for this, but as usual it will probably take another year before it gets reviewed.
-
Hi Mat, im not sure if this is related but i noticed that you have specified a document type on your pages. Could it be that the strictness of this doc type could be interfering with the layout? We dont have a doc type associated with our pages, i tried adding one in a few weeks ago and everything got shifted to the left…

Just to warn you about this. We had a special instructions box put on the checkout page (Transaction Body Field) and even though the box always shows up it doesnt always bring that information across to the sales order. We have had a running dispute with support on this one. Its hard for them to fix the problem as its…

All back to normal now Mat i take it? Shame the expensive support team we pay each year couldnt see that. That will be $50 please :)

Also, thinking about it, if you cant get a fully working order, you could get half way there. Turning that option on i mentioned before "Invoice before fulfillment", you could then bulk bill during the day a few times which could help you out a bit more even if the order hasnt been fulfilled.
-
I think there is a way in the system to do what you want, i think our PS team mentioned it when we were setting up but dont hold me to that. I think it involves turning on Invoice ahead of fulfillment and another setting which im not sure on. Also does that mean that every order you get has a status of pending approval or…
-
Hi Sweet, this is the way we currently do it. 1. Customer places order and sales order is created. 2. Picking ticket printed and goods dispatched. 3. Fulfillment created for sales order. 4. Cash sale raised charging customer card. We do bulk fulfilments and bulk billing during the day. It works out better for us this way…

Hi Paul, and anyone else who is interested. Drop me an email, chris@blitzsport.com and i will try to send over some code as soon as i have some time, will not be soon is the only thing. I have this code setup in C# and im willing to share this for free. The solution i built uploads the feed to Google FTP server which they…
-
I ended up creating a C# program that downloads all our product data via web services into a SQL database, then from that it creates a valid Google Base file (Now called Merchant Centre") and then uploads it by FTP each night. Took me some time to do it, but now i have it uploading Google Base, Shopping.com, Shopzilla,…

I have had a quote from a 3rd party company recently who can create the XML feed using SuiteScripts and then publish this into the file cabinet (for example in your website dir) Google could then pick up on this. Im waiting for a final quote and will probably end up going with it. This also means we can use this for other…

No probs, am busy for the next few days but will paste some sample code after then.
-
Hi Mat, we were thinking of doing this, and although it can be scripted quite easily it will not work on Matrix items. You can't get information on child items in a matrix, but if you have only single inventory items only you should be ok to do it. Chris

Or get the one-page checkout working :)

We received this as well, i sent back a false negative basically saying that NetSuite websites no longer use SSL 2.0 for encryption. I read it in one of the threads, searched for SSL 2, copy and pasted this into the description box on McAfee. Ill wait to see what i get back.
