Hi Bushra, Simply create an item saved search, in your filters scroll all the way down to and select Transaction Fields, select Type, then select Sales Order. In your columns, again scroll all the way down to and select Transaction Fields, then select Number and apply a Summary type of Count to this column and a Summary…

Hello mcarlisle, 1. Creating a "best sellers" report seems like it would be pretty easy to do. I would probably create a sales order saved search, group by item, sum the quantity, and pull the vendor name from the purchase order fields. I haven't tested this but it seems pretty straight forward. 2. Exporting a saved search…

I'm with kyang. Mass update is the way to go.

Hi Bushra, I'm not sure I follow. Where are you trying to publish the search to? Your website or an intranet tab? Or do you just want to add it to a dashboard? Let me know what you're trying to do. I know you can definitely add a summarized search on your dashboard but I've never tried to publish one.

The Opportunity record is supported by csv imports. What is the problem with using the CSV import tool to bring in your opportunities?
-
Hello Kurt, It doesn't really make sense to tie the contact role to the contact record only because you have to keep in mind that the contact to customer record is a many to many relationship, meaning you can attach multiple contacts to a company and multiple companies to a contact. This means that a contact may have…
-
Don't see how this would be possible. You should either setup a web service to automatically import the order upon submitting or do a daily batch import with a saved csv import map.
-
Hello Kurt, I believe the only way to do this is to import a customer & contact update as the contact role only makes sense as it pertains to the customer record. The field you are looking for is in the contact folder of the field mapping screen. It is called attached role.
-
I've done this through custom searches in the past and I get pretty decent results. How are you differentiating between shipping addresses and billing addresses? What seems to be the problem with using custom searches?

For CSV supported records: Setup>Import/Export>Import CSV Records

Hi bt, Forgive me if you've already tried this but I only see you've assigned preferred roles for the reps and not restricted them to certain forms. If you go a step further and restrict the form they use on the role record, this may resolve the issue for you. Some of our customers have run into this before and we use a…
-
Sorry if I'm asking a silly question, but have you tried customizing the transaction form to see if the field is unchecked?
-
Yes. We encountered this some time ago. This is pretty unfortunate. The alternative is to create custom account groupings in your financial statement layouts, but of course, this is not ideal.
-
Also down. Customers down as well
-
Ditto for us and our customers
-
One of our customers is also down. status.netsuite.com reflects reads "Minor Service Interruption. Some accounts are affected. More information will be posted on this status page as it becomes available." I'm not sure that I would classify this as minor. Additionally there is a note from earlier this morning: "7:08 AM PDT…

I'm not sure what you mean by "distributed our inventory via a mass update." Does this mean you performed a simple inventory distribution as opposed to a manual distribution? It's difficult to help trouble shoot without error messages or taking a look at your account. Your best bet is probably to contact NS support.
-
Have you considered temporarily changing your phone number format in your account under setup>company>general preferences or home>set preferences, registering the account, then editing the preferences again?
-
Did you distribute your inventory from the null location into your new locations? There should be an error message popping up. Do you get an error message?
-
Hi Shirley, This is not a defect because NetSuite has to allow businesses that don't necessarily want to plug in an item rate to set an amount. That being said, there are scripts you can write to force the amount to always be a product of quantity and item rate or, if you prefer to allow the sales rep to enter the…

Add us to the list

Major slow-down but we're still up. Try system2.netsuite.com. This could have something to do with a fix that's being released for an assembly issue but that's purely speculative and of course I don't speak for NetSuite.
-
Hi Curt, You can set a default for all transactions. Just make sure all of your users have the department you want defaulted assigned to their record and customize their role, changing Location Restrictions from none - no default to none - default to own. Unfortunately this does not work for non-customizable roles (I.E.…

Thank you Michele.
-
MGariepy, Should I stay on hold with NetSuite support to file a case? What is the ETA for a resolution?
-
Not to minimize the issue but keep in mind that you can remove messages from customer records and the associated files can be deleted as well.
-
Run a campaign saved search, add filters for your last campaign and the invalid address response, export the results, run a csv import update to remove the e-mail address from your customers. You may also run a mass update based on your saved search but I've only ever done the export/import method.

Hi Ken, What accounts was this fix released on? Was this a system-wide release?
-
To NetSuite: This issue has also been occurring in my customer's account for over a month as an intermittent issue. Case #914691. I have contacted support numerous times when the problem is occurring and they are taking the source code. The web support specialist handling the case informed me that the dev team is trying to…

My advice would be to purchase a NetSuite support contract to speak to a live rep or work with a Solution Provider if you have infrequent issues and don't want to pay for a support contract.
