Kate, a quick one... I am following the help on script deployments, and it seems I cannot deploy the script to Purchase Orders... am I missing something here? I click on the "list" option of the "Applies to" field and just about everything except Purchase Orders are listed there

What level of customer do your online forms create? eg. lead - qualified etc. and have you applied the script to that level of lead? I had the same prob a while back with customers/leads. Wiz

Well I stand corrected then. jwenzer, maybe using a non-inventory item that doesn't have the 'Can be Received/Fulfilled' flag checked instead of an expense might work better then, seeing as though there doesn't be a way to go straight to billing? Although it isn't a true expense, you could point said item to the correct…
-
But it is not linked to the item that way, as far as profitability. But whatever suits.
-
Simple. Refund that item for 0 units but put the correct amount to be refunded as per your rebate scheme.
-
There is nothing on the "Items" tab at all. The only thing on the PO is on the "Expenses" tab, so it is basically just hitting a G/L account for the amount. You should re-read Snookala's post.

Any reason you couldn't use credit memos?
-
Wow - It worked this time. Just got 290 emails. Thanks Evan.
-
Thanks - I'll try again now.
-
With one record, or multiple?
-
I believe they send immediately. I would try it on a test customer with a couple invoices first just to check. Didn't work. It does when you manually edit them, but not via mass update.
-
Thanks Evan. I've never used that. How and when do they send? Do I have to perform some other function?
-
I'm not sure how you go about fulfilling/billing your sales orders, but a custom field on the customer record could be used to trigger a colour filter on your billing or fulfilment records. Then it comes down to training humans. That's always the struggle.
-
The inventory is not negative until the sales order is fulfilled. We do Sales Orders before Purchase Orders. You can even bill the Sales Order and stock still won't be negative until fulfilment.
-
Mighty Oz - I'm less experienced and have starting discovering I'm forgetting how I made things work. I'm internested in a way to invoice before shipment and not invoice backordered items. The Invoice in Advance of Fulfillment feature invoices all items. I always forget how I make things work. It's a feature of netsuite.…

Dunno. I just click Bill on the Sales Order. How would I be sure if we have advanced somethingorother?
-
Excellent. I don't do the knowing stuff, I do the making stuff work.
-
Refund the item to be changed to a custom payment method, rather than refunding their card. Fulfil that item too. Then add the replacement item to the sales order and bill it with the same custom payemtn method. Then when you go to fulfil it, only the correct items should populate. It is messy, we do the same, bill then…

Incorrect info provided by me. No delete option.

Could you set up "freight" as a non inventory item?
-
ping bdougherty Ping request could not find the host bdougherty. Please check the name and try again.
-
A saved search with a scheduled email could be your friend here.
-
You can manually change invoice numbers?
-
We have a lot of staff who are accidentally using the copy invoice on the invoice form. Is there a way that this can be disabled. A mass staff sacking would also work!
-
We get customers phoning up saying "can you send me what I ordered last time?" DONE!
-
You could set up a "Miscellaneous" non-inventory item perhaps
-
We would in this instance perform a refund against the sale. Delete all line items and then add "Misc item" or the like. Change the description to read "Overcharge" or similar and enter the amount to be refunded against this line item. Hope that solves it for you
-
you could probably set a date range filter then
-
I don't know if archiving is possible. The quickest fix may be just to set up a different "view" Click "customize view" under the items/transactions tab and create a new view with no criteria so that doesn't actually show anything. Set it as default. If you ever need to see the info you can manually do it via the drop box,…

What permission should I give a role to be able to export a report to web query?
