Ans to first two questions - No, it's not possible. The system will allow only to convert Non-Inventory Items to Inventory Items.

You have to inactive all old items and create the new items.

NetSuite Reminders Portlet only supports "Summary Type = Count" Saved Searches. You have to either make the Saved Search non-summary or choose the "Summary Type = Count".

I am seeing the same issue. I know the tracking worked last week. I just set up UPS OAuth authentication yesterday and my integrated UPS labels are being generated as expected, so I am not sure if the tracking issue is related or not.
