this can be done using a search- using the sales rep is -mine- criteria, on a public saved search will allow this to be run by different saes reps, and display only their information.
-
you want total sales orders, and cash sales? Why not cash sales and invoices? Should be relatively simple, just use the criteria of type=invoice or cash sale. Or are you looking for orders placed, but not fulilled/billed? Im a little confused as you say sales orders and bookings, but you are including cash sales as…

To take this a step further, has anyone gotten a csv upload from Excel 07 to work, either?
-
Wow. Haven't checked into this thread lately, looks like I am behind. Since I have a background in accounting, and working for large companies, I have a little different perspective in this. Don't misunderstand, I get just as frustrated with NS reports, and have found different and creative ways to extract the data I need,…

Malin, Good to hear, thanks for the update. You know, I was just thinking that it must sound to you and your colleagues as if we all complain incessantly here, so I hope you also know that we do appreciate the feedback and assistance that you provide in the user group. I can't speak for everyone, of course, but my sense is…
-
No. I tried to do this until I was beyond frustrated. Do not believe it is possible.
-
Not sure if there is one or not, but I could never find one. I was able to capture the transaction total by creating a formula that pulled the sum of the transaction lines, based upon transaction number, although not sure that will help you.
-
Hi Sig, a handy trick I use is to open the ODBC guide with the tables listed, and do a cntl-F search by keyword. Usually, it points me in the right direction. Might help you.
-
See, Sig, they don't ignore us nearly as much as we may think they do.... and from what I have learned about the NS developers in the last two weeks, it is in very good hands.....:D
-
How did you do that? File a support request? What was the turnaround time by NS? actually, I whined about it in here, and it was done almost immediately. I did not have to file a case...(but I tend to whine really loud) I guess, if you want to speed the process along, you could give support a call, and ask them directly.…
-
well, neither were bins until I asked them nicely to uncover them.
-
Hi Sig, I see references to Job's within the customer table. Have you checked there?
-
Hi Carrie, You can try using the report at reports-customers-payment history by invoice. In the columns, you can remove all irrelevant columns, but add in "date due" and "date closed." You can also add in the customer info like address, name, etc. In filters, show only transaction type = invoice. you can also narrow down…

not under the vendor record, but easy enough to do in a report/search. Not the answer I bet your looking for, though.
-
Good Morning Luke, I noticed this late friday, and again yesterday when I was trying to finalize our physical inventory count. I did not file a case, I just worked around it, as time was quite limited. What I was (and still am) seeing is this: on a transaction search, using the criteria of serial number, I get no results.…
-
For the record, my searches are going haywire this morning. They keep returning with "No Search Results Match Your Criteria."- but yet I know they are there. I have been having to go in manually via customers and item records. Not sure if this is just me, but it is really weird....
-
yes, under filters, you can find closed date in the folder "payments by invoice" (in the history by invoice report). This will give you the option of a date range that the invoices are closed- ie paid or credited. remove the invoice dates in the filter, this will give you all invoices closed, without also restricting the…
-
For the record, never automatically assume I am right.....;) I went back in to check on this, and now it seems it is getting even better.... if I do an unrestricted advanced transaction search- only criteria is serial, it pulled the item fulfillment. Hey, it's a start. the problem is, related to this specific…

This is making me mental. LOL- welcome to the rest of us. Have you tried, reports-accounts receivable, payment history by invoice? THis will let you pull specific information as to payments made, as well as show the payment method. good luck.
-
agreed- finding information in the tables is an exercise in itself. I can tell you that I was unable to find transaction totals in the transaction table- I had to go into the transaction lines, and sum them to get the transaction totals. Not exactly the easiest way, but at least it is possible. ;)

Hi there, Two part question: we have net suite limited and don't have the commission module, but we use some of the sales order report by sales rep. However, we only want to pay out commissions once we have been paid (pay on pay). How could we modify one of the existing reports so that we pay out commission only once we…
-
I am not sure I understand. My statements clearly show payments as well as invoices. How are you booking the deposits?
-
try this: Reports-Inventory-Inventory Activity Detail-customize add a filter for the following-Quantity on hand-transaction type- long name=credit memo. You can add in dates, etc if you like, it may do the trick for you. good luck
-
Not in my world. The payment method is just blank until I pick one, and there's no warning at all if I leave it blank. The payment is applied correctly, but we'll never have a clue how it was paid. I can hardly believe it does this, actually - and will be calling Support to ask if there's an issue logged for it already.…
-
the payment method is viewed in the payments transaction, if the information has been filled in at the time the payment was received. It is not a mandatory field. In Crystal, look in the transactions or transaction lines table, (or both) make sure you are pulling transaction type=payment. Also, you may want to check in…
-
Would it not be easier to do a search on this field being empty? That way, you get your results, just without so much work involved.
-
you mean has anyone made an income statement in CR using ODBC for Netsuite? I make exec level reports in CR, Im still learning, but I have a decent grasp on it.
-
If you go into a Sales Order, and then go into the History tab, and then the Fulfillments & Invoices tab, you can see the lifecyle of your order - the fulfillments it had, and the invoices. Great. Now, is there a way to get this information without having to go into a specific SO and clicking the history tab? Obviously,…
-
This can be had via the ODBC, haven't figured out a way to do it via Netsuite. Also noticed that Credit Memos aren't linked in that history tab. I always thought that was weird. How right you are. I have done it in CR via ODBC. However, I assumed he was looking within Netsuite itself. I missed the CM info- wow, that is…

what happens if you add an account or several ?. then you have to modify n number of layouts ?. no ?. Im not a fan of modify financial statement layouts due to the maintenance aspect of it as well as potential for including or exluding accounts you do/dont want. Messy. Totally in agreement with Ray. Causes a residual mess…
