The NS Community Choice
allows members to nominate fellow users who go above and beyond, whether by offering helpful advice, welcoming newcomers, sharing valuable insights, or simply being a positive force in the community.
How to Nominate?
A nomination thread will be opened every quarter. To nominate, simply leave a comment with these details:
- @Mention the member ’s username
- Reason for nomination. Answer one or more of these guiding questions:
- How has this person gone out of their way to support or add value to others?
- How do they regularly and reliably contribute to the team or community?
- How do they show positivity, respect, and inclusiveness toward others?
- Can you share a specific example of their contributions?
Sample Nomination:
“@HelpfulUser – Always quick to share detailed explanations that make complex NetSuite issues simple. For example, their recent post on customizing reports helped me and several others solve reporting challenges.”

Key Reminders
- Oracle employees are not eligible for the award but can still be nominated as a gesture of recognition.
- You can nominate more than one person, just submit separate comments.
Correct:
- Comment 1: “@HelpfulUser – Helped me troubleshoot workflows.”
- Comment 2: “@FriendlyMember – Always greets new members and makes them feel welcome.”
Incorrect:
- “@HelpfulUser and @FriendlyMember – Both are awesome!”
- Each nomination should be for one member only.
- A member can win in multiple categories during the year but only once per category per calendar year.
- Example:
- Q1: Member A wins Helpfulness
- Q2: Member A can still win Consistency or Community Spirit, but not Helpfulness again until next year.
If someone made a difference for you, don’t keep it to yourself, nominate them and help celebrate their impact on the community!
