With Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), you will simplify the process of gaining
insights from data. You
can:
• Deploy fully-managed data marts and data warehouses as well as integrate existing data lakes in
minutes.
• Use a wide range of built-in self-service tools for extracting, loading, and transforming data.
• Use built-in tools (including Oracle Analytics Cloud) or your favorite applications (like Excel or 3rd party
BI tools) to run sophisticated reports.
• Gain deeper insights like predictions and recommendations using machine learning, graph, spatial, text
algorithms, and more.
Use the below 5-step “how to” process for setting up your data warehouse and analytics – First, familiarize yourself with the process using a quick overview and demos. Once that’s complete, you can try it using the free Oracle LiveLabs. If you need more information, check out the documentation and reference architectures for each step.
Step 1: How do I create my analytics environment?
Your first step is to create an instance of Autonomous Database and connect your analytics services and tools, such as Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) or 3rd party BI tools. Take a quick tour of ADW services and learn how ADW works with OAC.
Try with Oracle LiveLabs:

Step 2: How do I load and transform my data?
Oracle Data Studio comes pre-built with Autonomous Database. Data Studio is a suite of easy-to-use self- service data engineering and management tools. No matter what your role is - business or data analyst, data scientist, or developer - you can quickly connect and integrate data from 3 rd party platforms to load and construct reusable transformation processes. You can load data from any data source or location, including data lakes, open-source platforms, or multiple systems.

Step 3: How do I quickly get insights using my data?
Running analytics and getting values from your data is simple with Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse.
As a data engineer and/or database administrator, you can use Data Studio to generate and share performance-optimized business models and find immediate insights and anomalies. You can also use familiar tools such as Excel add-in and SQL Worksheet. As a business analyst, you can use the analytics tools of your choice, including Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Microsoft Excel, and other 3rd party BI tools.
