How far back? or Max # of comments stored on a requisition's history?

Does anyone know how far back requisition comments are stored in time?  ,or, If there is not a limit on time, what is the maximum # of comments that can be stored on a requisition?

We have requisitions from 2011 which appear to have cut off comments prior to 2013, but we are not sure if it's a date limitation, or maximum # of comments met that caused this to occur.

Any information on this would be appreciated.
