Position based planning in EPBCS Workforce
SummaryHow to configure a HCM position based budget / forecast in EPBCS workforce
Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions or experience on configuring a Position level budget/forecast within EPBCS workforce (as compared to Job/Employee). Specifically as it relates to:
- Planning level definition (Employee, Job, Employee & Job)
- Integration with HCM via the standard templates (I'm assuming this isn't possible) for position
We have jobs in HCM (i.e. Manager) and positions (i.e. IT manager, marketing manager). The actual positions can be quite varied in term of compensation definition and as such the higher level job is not really appropriate for new or existing employee planning. They are also looking to avoid Employee level planning, given they do not care who is in the position in budgeting for it (i.e. it removes noise around departure/vacancy).
