Hi,

Our Client uses Oracle Time and Labor and defines rate schedules to import cost from OTL to Projects. Recently they have new requirement to have expenditure type derived in Project Expenditure Items and account the Costs differently. For this they want expenditure type to be defaulted based on the task selected on the time card.

There are 3 fields in the time card, Project, Task and Work Type, they do not want to change the Time card layout since this is a specific requirement and other employees time card should not be altered. So, when we import costs from OTL, is there a way to default the expenditure type based on the task selected by the employee.
