Tablet portrait orientation - Different pixel ranges due to pixel ratio

We are building a responsive web application that is expected to work across mobile, tablet, desktop etc.

As per below JET documentation, -sm- classes are for phones and -md- classes are for tablet portrait mode. This documentation is for JET 10 but I was able to verify this in redwood-css file in our VBCS application (21.04.0)
