Content (required): When Creation of Budget ,Revenue Budget amount is getting changed when ever there is a change in Cost Budget amount and click on Save button , Chosen Financial Type a Approved Cost and Revenue Budget. PPlese help us in

  • Understand the Logic of Revenue Budget calculation
  • How can Cost budget drive the Revenue Budget Calculation . Is this the intended Functionality?

Ex : Initially entered revenue Budget as 10000 USD and Cost Budget as 5000 USD and hit Save button then Budget Margin calculated as 50% . Then With out Baseline the Budget ,immediately changed the Cost Budget to 10000 USD and click on Save button, then observed that there is a change in Revenue Budget amount to 20000 USD and the Budget Margin Percentage remains as 50 %.
