Need a Location Type field for Location object

Description (Required):

Need an extra column in Location table called 'LOCATION_TYPE_GID' where client can categorize locations as per company's internal terminology.

Use Case and Business Need (Required):

Client wants to categorize the locations based on their internal terminology. For our client locations can be of different types like

·        Plant (Manufacturing Plant)

·        Feeder (Warehouse)

·        C&F (Warehouse maintained by C&F)

·        Depot

·        Dealer

·        Customer

·        OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer)

·        ICD (Inland Container Depot)

·        Port

These values Client wants to see these values as list of values (LOV). Client uses 2 different names for each location which are captured in Location name and Location Description fields. Location name is actual name and Location Description is used as short description for on-ground users.
