Can't delete compartment, tenancy explorer shows instances that don't exist

Seem to have a general problem with not being able to delete assets from time to time. Error message:


Delete failed. The compartment must be empty before you can delete it. Use the Tenancy Explorerto find resources. Learn moreabout deleting compartments.
