Default salary basis based on Recruiting Type

We have a requirement to default offer field (Salary Basis) under assignment info section based on the recruiting types. We got use cases approved in the auto complete program application. We configured the rules in the system and able to default the fields in offer letter creation page based on the requisition fields. But we are facing the error when moving to HR and also when we creating an employee in the system
