Currently, FinFunTransactionApproval BPM allows to use DistributionLine.ccid as an attribute in the workflow design. However, ccids are dynamically created and this attribute is not fit for purpose. Business need ability to configure the intercompany transaction approval workflow to take into consideration the IC distribution segments of the GL KFF on the transaction distribution line(s). This would allow for additional flexibility in:

  1. Creating multiple approval groups and mapping them to an organizational structure such as a line of business or company code (there is a proposal to create transaction types per company code but that is not popular as there are 50+ company codes and 10+ transaction types, which will mean we need 500+ transaction types and it complicates IC period close process)
