Product Notice: Alert Related to Google Chrome / Mozilla and Entrust Certificates [Nov 2024]
As we have been receiving inquiries about Google Chrome and Mozilla related to Entrust certificates that are created after Nov 11, 2024, we have prepared the following update for Eloqua customers.
With the recent announcement from Google and Mozilla relating to not trusting any TLS certificates issued by Entrust after November 11, 2024, Eloqua customers should work with their IT teams to switch to a new certificate provider when the existing Entrust certs are due for renewal.
Eloqua customers can also request to have Automated Certificate Management enabled for their instances, this is a Controlled Availability program offered at no additional cost. When enabled, Eloqua will take over securing domains within 20 days of the existing certificate expiring and will renew the certificates every 90 days.
