Bank looking for a Manager, Digital User-Experience (Toronto)

    Our client, a leading Canadian bank, is looking for a Manager, Digital User-Experience working within their Wealth Management division.  The Manager will oversee the digital user-experience, and the end-to-end development and implementation of digital marketing initiatives.


    The Manager will own the digital interface and experience, perform key digital maintenance responsibilities and will primarily be responsible to carry out quality initiatives, on time and on budget, for all multiple channels.


    What You’ll Be Doing:


    ·       Manage digital initiatives - digital experience, QA, approval, deployment and execution for all Wealth Management digital marketing channels (web, mobile, etc.), ensure cross-browser functionality and SEO compatible

    ·       Develop digital strategies and proposals

    ·       Document all phases of the digital initiatives from project inception/briefing to go-live and upkeep

    ·       Ensure that content is updated, tagged and archived appropriately

    ·       Managing administrative site update requests from internal departments

    ·       Oversee Customer Service digital-related requests and issue resolution

    ·       Workflow planning and production management

    ·       Ability to manage project lifecycles end-to-end, including creation of workback schedules and project plans

    ·       Manage appropriate internal and external stakeholders to ensure content is updated

    ·      Translate business requirements and user needs into visual designs for digital channel

    ·      Working closely with marketing to regularly ensure content update

    ·      Work closely with back-end developers and partners to ensure website functionality meets business requirements

    ·       Responsible for reviewing technology documentation when necessary

    ·       Responsible for UAT (User Acceptance Testing) on newly implemented online applications

    ·       Keep up-to-date with design trends and digital technologies; share best practices with team members

    ·       Be the expert as it relates to all digital marketing-related platforms (CMS, email deployment system, ASP, HTML5, NET, HTML, XHTML, XML, DHTML, AJAX, CSS, Java, JavaScript, Flash, C#, Java and web authoring software (Dreamweaver), PHP, ASP, ASPX, PERL, XML, Scripting and VB Scripting. Object oriented coding etc.)

    ·       Work closely with digital solutions and development teams to come up with initiative proposals


    What We’re Looking For


    ·       Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, Digital/IT Project Management or related discipline

    ·       4+ years’ experience in a digital agency or client-side environment, designing, developing/implementing and managing web sites

    ·     Experience with a Content Management and Email Deployment systems

    ·     Strong experience and ability to program front-end and backend functionality using: .NET, HTML, XHTML, XML, DHTML, AJAX, CSS, Java, JavaScript, Flash, C#, Java and web authoring software (Dreamweaver), PHP, ASP, ASPX, PERL, XML, Scripting and VB Scripting. Object oriented coding.

    ·       Understanding of databases principles (Oracle/SQL), IIS Windows Server, Security: SSL Implementation

    ·       Excellent Digital User Experience and digital interface experience

    ·       Knowledge and understanding of Google Analytics and report analysis required

    ·       Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project

    ·       Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, Photoshop and/or InDesign a plus

    ·       Champion data driven digital strategies

    ·       Passion for the digital marketing space and marketing technologies and tools

    ·       Must be solutions driven, process oriented and proactive

    ·       Vast understanding of usability and accessibility standards and SEO best practices
