How to filter External Activity contacts in Eloqua Segment (without using External Activity filter).

We followed below documentation to add external activities in Eloqua

Step1: Able to add External Activities for Eloqua contact.

(In our case many contacts missed Email activities through Eloqua , so we are uploading these activities externally)

Step2: In Segmentation we have an option to drag and drop external activity filters

Can we retrieve "External Activity" contacts in segment without using external activity filters ?
