Department Name in My Setup Displays Taleo Generated Code

When I access the General tab in MY SETUP, the Department Name field is displaying a Taleo generated numeric code and my department name instead of the department number I send on my integration. The code that is displayed is a Taleo generated record locator code that is assigned to the line of data in my feed that contains my department information (Department Number and Name).
In the following screen shot 11573 is Taleo's code. This should display 01888 which is my department number.
I need either the correct department number to display, or to completely eliminate the numeric display.
I logged this issue with support and was told that the system does not work the way I expect and that I should input an enhancement request.
