Using User Groups as a Field in Reporting & Analytics

Hi,

Does anyone use User Groups at their organization? We have user groups on the staffing web top side so that certain groups of requisitions can only be seen/accessed by some users. ie. The HR requisitions can only be seen by the recruiter(s) that deal with HR and not all of our recruitment team. I want to know if anyone is then using those User Groups as a field in Reporting & Analytics? There is a field Req. User Group, but I experience problems when I try to use it to filter a report.

What I really want to be able to do is create User Groups of recruiters (Req. Recruiter) so that I can filter reports into the 3 recruiting teams we have. We have a large recruiting area, with 40 or so recruiters, so I don't want to hard code the groups, because there's weekly/monthly changes and I don't want to have to modify my query every month. Anyone have any experience doing something like this?

Howdy, Stranger!
