Summary

Understanding SSO - SSO enables users to log in to one domain and access another domain without logging in again.

I am frequently asked about Single Sign-on (SSO) for EPRCS, so I thought I would share a brief overview, and a link for additional information.

Oracle Cloud uses the SAML 2.0 protocol to enable secure, cross-domain communication between Oracle Cloud and other SAML-enabled Identity Providers.

Enabling SSO for your Oracle Cloud users provides several advantages:
- It eliminates the need for two different password for two different accounts (on premise and cloud).
- Because there is only a single password, users are more likely to use a strong password and keep it confidential.

Howdy, Stranger!
