Handling NULL values in calculations
Summary
Summing columns in OBI that contain NULL values results in a NULL sumContent
Does anyone know how to handle NULL values as part of a calculation? I have columns in which some are returning NULL values and some are not - i want to SUM these columns, but when I do, if there is a NULL value present, the SUM is always NULL.
For example, col1 + col2 = col3
If col2 is null, then col3 evaluates to null even if col1 <> NULL.
I have tried CAST and IFNULL functions within the column formula, but it does not seem to help.
