View User Permission

Summary

A report to view user permissions for users

Content

Long before we understood User roles we mapped permissions individually to people.  I just discovered that even if you map a person to a role, if there are items mapped directly to the user, the system will ignore the role mapping.  This is a huge problem because I just gave all users (User Role) permission to view BI Reports and some people are getting an error message.  When I investigate the error message I see that these people had some permissions manually mapped to their account and they are not getting the permissions that are in the User role.  I would like to run a report to see who has permissions to BI reports.  I can use an Access database to determine who doesn't have access.  Is this even possible as I do not see a data set that has permissions in it or am I not looking correctly at my material.

Howdy, Stranger!
