Defaulting fields in create position pages

edited Feb 15, 2017 11:34AM in Human Capital Management 2 comments

Summary

Is it possible to default data in the create position fields?

Content

When a position is created, the date populated in the effective date field is 01-01-1951 and users often forget to change the date to today, they then go to the next page and don't understand why they cannot find their department or the manager (for example).  In addition, we only have one Business Unit and general users do not know what this is so they have to go through a number of clicks (search) to identify there is only one option.

Is it possible (maybe using page composer) to default the effective date to todays date and the Business Unit field to our one BU?  I have included a screen shot of the page I am referring to.

Howdy, Stranger!
