FCCS YTD Data Loads question

What are the proper YTD load targets for view & movement dimensions

Current client migrating from Enterprise and does not want to load periodic data - insists on loading YTD (life-to-date balance sheet) balances as it provides them a control that all activity has been included in the consolidation tool.

I need to confirm the proper targets for the view and movement dimensions.  It is my understanding that if we are loading a YTD trial balances (with life to data balance sheet data) that we should load to View = FCCS_YTD_Input and the system will then squeeze the Periodic amount based on last month's balance.  And for the Movement dimension, we should load to FCCS_ClosingBalance_Input and then we would need to write calc scripts to reclass the periodic balance in this account to the proper movement member.
