Hi All,

To achieve business requirement, have to build alternate hierarchy in Account dimension for reporting purpose. Primary, we are using built in account hierarchy for adding/updating metadata.

As, Oracle has own structure and we have to follow for FCCS but business users are complaining that they have to navigate multiple levels for data analysis or to create reporting structure using FCCS hierarchy.

Business users are familiar with ERP hierarchy structure and same they want in FCCS.

Problems:

  1. IF we built same ERP structure in FCCS, we have to create alternate hierarchies and have to use custom structure. We will end up losing Oracle FCCS setup like Cash flow, BS and other built in functions support.
