Improving Performance with Hierarchy Columns

Summary

Is there anything to speed up the performance of Hierarchy Columns

Content

Hello,

I love the idea of the hierarchy columns. Having an easily expandable hierarchy for Line Managers (assignment Manager) or the Organizational Tree, or even department tree is a great way to empower users to drill into their data based on our configuration. However, when I try to use them the reports slow to a crawl.

Our Organizational hierarchy has 3 trees with 9/9/5 levels and the Assignment Manager hierarchy is variable given the depths of our organization. If I try to include any of these hierarchy columns the results of the report slow to unusable levels until they have fully expanded the hieararchy once. (after which point I assume it's been cached?)

Howdy, Stranger!
