Want to be able to modify columns in performance review sections

We are in the midst of moving to the Talent Center and I have a question on the flexibility of the review (which we are getting ready to roll out at the same time we roll out the Talent Center). 

I am working on a custom template and have been able to add sections, but am not finding the area were I can designate the section as having two columns or one.  The default appears to be two, which makes the custom comments section appear only one one side of the page.  This will frustrate my users -- is there any way to make the section comments as one column instead of two?
