How can I add two fields in the Analytics/dashboard that are "From Date:" and "To Date:" parameters

If the user wishes to see service requests submitted by entering the from date and to date. How can I add those two fields while creating a new analytics/dashboard?

Hi all,

I am new to the report, dashboard and analytics creation so please bear with me. I want to allow the customer to view previously submitted service requests by selecting values in From Date and To Date. I added the subject area Date but the customer wants to have those two parameters to select from and I have no idea how to do so.

Anyone can help please?
