Do companies switch on Gender Identity And Sexual Orientation Fields in ESS?

Hello,

Researching this topic it appears these fields can be included in the biographical information screen to allow employees to update (if they wish to) although are hidden 'out of the box'

Have companies switched these on? If so for what reason (diversity reporting etc?) and any feedback from employees as to why a company is 'asking for this information' and what they do with it?

Keen to hear thoughts from other organisations,

Thanks

Kevin

How To Display Gender Identity And Sexual Orientation Fields in ESS (Doc ID 2335194.1)

This information is stored in the person legislative developer descriptive flexfield (DDF). The DDF has been added to the About Me > Personal Information > Edit > Biographical tab, but hidden out of the box. The DDF, and an associated header for the applicable legislation can be displayed by using a page composer personalization.

Howdy, Stranger!
