BI Publisher - Prompts that update other prompts

Refresh Other Parameters on Change causing parameters to blank

Content

Hello Experts!

I have a data model where we've built 8 parameters and I'm trying to make them interact with each other.

Each of the parameters is a menu that is based on a query. In each of the prompts I've made connections and references to the other parameters in attempts to filter each of the prompted values on the previous selections you've made. This should help guide the user to valid selections when they want to filter the data.

When trying to view the data from the data model, I'm able to populate the first prompt, and it will update the rest, but trying to update a second has caused the entire list of prompts to change back to the All value. If I remove the option to refresh other parameters on change on all except one, I not longer see that behavior but changing the others doesn't update their respective lists. (as expected)

Howdy, Stranger!
