Summary

Use cases you have encountered for approvals based on item source

Customers

I am hoping you will find some time to review this and provide some inputs:

In our Approvals Whitepaper, you will find an attribute entitled Item Source for Requisitions:

Item Source Identifies the source from which item is added, such as noncatalog request, punchout
catalog, local catalog, and so on.

Question:

Do you have approval use cases or scenarios where you need to define varying approvals based on these sources?

If yes, can you share specific examples.

Why do I ask:

We are evaluating requirements around a specific kind of Punchout (Marketplace Punchout) where we are trying to ascertain if there is a need to identify Marketplace Punchout with a unique Item Source as opposed to classifying them simply as Punchout.

Howdy, Stranger!
