Security for Checklist Report tasks
Content
Hi all
Checklists have the ability to create a Task that has a linked report. We're exploring using this functionality for cases where we need to notify internal departments (Facilities, IT) of an onboarding employee's key data without giving those departments access to the pending worker's HR record. Has anyone explored the Report Task functionality from a security perspective? My questions are:
- Is the report that is produced secured by the role of the user to which the task is assigned, or by the roles of the user who creates the checklist? I.e. if IT don't have full access to an employee based on their Roles, would they still see the report output if the Task is assigned to them?
