Summary

Configuration: Controlling Granular Access to Document Records

Content

All,

An enhancement was delivered in 19B - "Control Security for Document Records"

This enhancement allows you to grant view-only access for selected document types while allowing manage access to other document types. The steps to leverage this feature were outlined in the What's New as well as the Implement GHR guide here. However, there have been many questions and posts asking for information on what steps to follow, to leverage this granular level of document record security.

To address these queries for a detailed document, a white paper has been published on My Oracle Support (MOS) with detailed use cases covering employee, line manager and HR Analyst roles. There are detailed security configuration steps and screenshots included in the white paper.

Howdy, Stranger!
