Summary

is possible tu use BFILE on an NFS using a DBSystem

Content

I´m having a client that have 4TB of files on a filesystem that gets accessed via BFILE from the DB. We are planning to move this client to a 11g DBSystem on virtual machines (RAC). In that case I don´t have an option to allocate block storage on the server but I can use an NFS to mount on the DBSystem on both nodes.

You see this as a feasible solution or you think there is any problem with this solution? I´m kind of worried on any changes with the use of NFS for DBSystems on VMs.
